stevie 4 Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 i took my 18 prodrive ppf7s off last week with the intention of getting them refurbished.i replaced them with a set of 17s i had but after running about with the 17s on i have decided that i like them better than the 18s so i am thinking of selling them there is quite bad kerbing on two and the usual kerb marks on the other two so all 4 will need totally refubished.i just dont know what sort of price i should ask for them if i do decide to sell

_jac_ Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 (edited) A set just sold on 22b, just refurbished with Michelin PS Cup tyres for £600 http://bbs.22b.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?...c;f=34;t=001104 Edited October 31, 2007 by _JAC_

A refurb is going to cost around £200 straight off, so expecting to get the same for those mentioned above, is perhaps more in hope that expectation. Only my silly opinion mind you.
dan_jess Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I'd stick them up for sale for £400 and let whoever buys them refurbish them. Cuts your cost down and most people will want certain colour to go with there car anyway

talizman Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 thanks for the advice guys i see a wallet boost happening for christmas I appreciate that this isn't the for sale forum, but I'm VERY interested. What colour are they? Are there tyres on them, if so, make and condition? Cash waiting
andy Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 BTW, since I forgot to mention it and your bit to admin reminded me - the members only restrictions on the For Sale Forum have been lifted. It was unpopular and too difficult to police as, especially in the other regional Forums, folk were just posting For Sale stuff anywhere they could All we'd have done with this topic if it was advertising is move it to the For Sale forum

I was going to post up and ask, in case it was one who slipped through the net. Good news though... or bad cause it might well lead to more spending!
