Insurance Database

Found this link, its supposed to be the same database the police use

I think it would be good if your hit to phone home and get someone to check it out on the database whilst you are exchanging "Insurance details"

Good find Graeme  Can anyone on here

verify if it is a recognised database - it does come

up with the correct car info. Even worked on

my bike. It registers a company van of ours but

not one of the company cars ??

The police use PNC ( Police National Computer ) All registered road going vehicle details are held on this .

Most insurance details are held on this as well, although some are not held , even though someone has valid insurance.

It also has detials of MOT as well.

I wouldn't trust it 100%..

Always better to get the police to attend at the end of the day no matter how much the other party puts their hands up. Thats what we're here for :P and the public always tell me that they pay my wages..;):D

I've attended to a minor bump when they've not even called the police.

We do the usual checks to see if all is in order. If no insurance is held on PNC they get a 7 day producer....

You wouldn't believe how many folk out there have no insurance....Shower of w###s

You dinnae need to tell me, I've been a victim of these little t.ossers.

Would have ripped the bastids head off if your colleagues weren't present.

I would always phone the coppers anyway, as you say it's their job to sort this stuff out.

Craig.
