empty_heed Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 i am in the process of getting a 05 a sportswagon 2.0 sport automatic. i drive with handcontrols & i currently have a 1.4 civic which is lowered etc, it looks good but lacks power & i feel the need for a bigger car. i would like to modify my wagon when i get it but would like a bit of info on the do's & dont's..... if anyone can give me some pointers or tell me were i can get some info apparantly the spring cup size is different to a wrx/turbo model so it's not possible to put the wrx lowering kit/springs on it without difficulty, is this true. is their an after market kit/springs that would fit ? cheers

euan_r Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 dont know about newages but all classics are the same size. though they are the same size may have different spring rates but they do fit. i lowered my na legacy a few years ago and it was same kit as for impreza turbo. when i got my first turbo rears tyres were rubbing so fitted normal legacy springs to rear struts for a fortnight until i had received new lowering kit , worked fine but looked like it was set up for forest stages hopefully some one will know what the newer ones are like but cant see them fitting different bits as it would keep the cost down.
