To put this into perspective lets not forget that JD's car is over 200kgs heavier than the classic....

I also suspect due to the larger turbo on JD's car that should they be competing over a 1/4 mile the gap would be far larger...

I found it very hard going on Sunday in the 460hp classic we took along as I just couldn't get it off the line (Something I will be resolving when we take the car testing at Smeathorpe in a couple of weeks time) , when I did get the thing moving it was sensational at the top of the track still managing to cross the 1/8th @ 95mph with my crappy starts...

I knew there was a reasonable weight difference between the newages and classivs but didn`t realise it was 200kg! I`ve been told it roughly equates to approximately a 50bhp difference (the newage having the extra 50bhp) making them roughly equal

well i think it was a good day any way approx 250bhp to 280bhp my classic and steves 418bhp i done well i dont care how one and far play to steve for getting the win that day i will b down the rolling road day to see what my bhp will b and have a good chat to see is i can get some more power and yes the 1/8 is far to short and i would love to do it again over the 1/4 to see how much he will beat me buy

iya all who turned up i think it was a good day BUT the so called stand we had was shxt any old jo public was aloud to park in where a stand was and i did not think this was right IF ANY ONE THINKS DIFF PLEASE SAY plus i payed a diposit and and we still all had to pay the ful amount to get in there was NO discount as promised from street wars and it cost me £35 to get in with out the run (£55) with thats with the diposit i payed (just for me so i think i will b getting on to lee at street wars to talk about next time i think the stand if we do have one next time shouyld b buy the Q for the 1/8 mile please let me all know what u think as i will not b getting done with this again thanks to u all pete

Think i should do a few mods to my car this year and enter Street wars next year. Be a good laugh! lol. But i think a anti lift kit is needed as my rear end drops a good un. lol.

i have spoken to Lee about last weekend, and i did offer to pay you back £25 out of club funds to compensate you, but you refused. This offer still stands. I will be in more contact with Lee closer to the next event. He agrees there are some issues with the parking and aims to resolve the issues, I dont think he planned on that many cars turning up.

i said no as whats the point in puting that on to u i was not to bothered its just i would like u all to know next time will b better i have emailed lee and just waiting for a reply very good day just not set up right
