~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Kinda jumping on this topic.Out of curiosity guys. I know I have missed this slot for getting Andy F, but I dont have much knowledge in the remapping of the Imprezas. I have had a couple of Sport versions in the past and played about with the handling. I currenlty have a 2.5WRX 56 plate, "hawkeye" wagon but was just wondering what I could (or more Andy F) could get out of it? Current mods are, 1. Have removed 3rd cat. 2. A moto GP silencer delete air intake is currently enroute from USA 3. Pipercross replacement filter installed 4. Cat back s/s exhaust system (2 1/2") 5. Will prob look at getting the silicone "Y" hose in very near future. Any ideas or comments if a remap is worthwhile soon or should I look at getting a few other bits first? Hi and welcome. Have a read here http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtop...p;hl=thundercat ( although I see you have the 2.5 WRX so expect better performance) Good luck Cal

WUZ Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 How about we test out the pc on your car On the "service wagon"? SURE? On the wife's X3.......................you - YES, Marc, HMM not until he's practised on his sporty italian red motor! Russell
scoobyiain Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Marc did mention a few scratches on the X3 so i will try and get them out for you. Will leave him to practice on my car if that makes you feel better.

Carl Davey Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 How's everyone getting on getting their cars ready? Here's how my bucket looked this morning.
RA Dunk Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 looks like you been a very busy boy Carl hopefully see you next tuesday on mapping day
Carl Davey Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Hopefully lol... Main hold-up now is getting my modified D/V return cross-pipe back from the powder coaters. Turbo is on, PAS reservoir relocated, A/C binned, injectors fitted and manifold mostly (awaiting modified cross-pipe) ready to be bolted back down. After that it's a case of re-plumbing the fuel system, re-jigging the IACV wiring, sorting the induction and fitting the Apexi PFC/AVC-R. It'll be ready, it'll just be a case of whether or not i get time to do everything i want to do.
RA Dunk Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 have you ported the headers too Carl? what about bigger injectors?
Carl Davey Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Aye i stuck a set of Harveys headers on a couple of months ago. I've got some Apexi 555cc injectors which i actually modified and fitted to the fuel rails this morning. I forgot to mention Duncan, i saw you on Wellington road last Wednesday. I was in my Pug collecting some bits from Subaru after jumping off the helicopter. The RA was looking very clean.
RA Dunk Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 hmmmm wheres wellington road lol? i was through one day last week it might have been wednesday
Carl Davey Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Altens, you were heading towards the Shell building, i was going the opposite way.
RA Dunk Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 ahhh, ok now i remember, i was into the office in port lethen on wednesday getting an issue sorted out
RA Dunk Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Aye i stuck a set of Harveys headers on a couple of months ago. I've got some Apexi 555cc injectors which i actually modified and fitted to the fuel rails this morning. this will be quite intresting between us carl, the only diffrence between the mods we are getting done will be im going with a front mount, i take it you still have the newage top mount?
Carl Davey Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Yeah still on the Newage STi top-mount. Which turbo inlet pipe are you using? I've gone for a Newage one which has created a lot of work...
RA Dunk Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 im not sure TBH, im just passing the car on to WUZ, he can do with it as he wishes
scoobyiain Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 my car is looking the same as it was when i bought it, sat should be a different story tho.
