jamesm Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) John Fife's tribute Found the following link on the Scottish Rally Championship website which is a tribute to Colin by John Fife. A well written and moving tribute. Take a few quiet minutes to read and reflect. I think it says it all. Link now fixed! Edited September 18, 2007 by JamesM
gus the bus Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) A very fitting tribute to Colin and his career in motorsport! A career which I followed from his earliest days in the Sunbeam and Nova through forests across Scotland, Devilla,Craigvinean, Cardrona, Craik, Twiglees etc.... Read with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes! Long live his memory! Edited September 18, 2007 by Gus the Bus
bogie Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 oops , should have waited and read this at home, lump in throat - time for a wee trip to the loo. I remember all those stages and also don't forget Blair-Adam just outside Kelty, that tight bend through the gate posts! Still can't believe it.

superstar_tradesman Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Touching tribute to a great ambassidor for Scotland and Motorsport, he shall never be forgotten.
iain01 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Very nice tribute. Must admit i have had a few tears in my eyes over the last couple of days, especially after listening to his father who first got me interested in rallying. When you read the condolences in Colin's website from every corner of the world, it makes you realise what an impact he made. He was realitivly local to most of us, but respected throughout the world.
