I checked the shop to have a look, and to see how many slots there are for the up and coming track day at Knockhill. However, the track day link is empty. Does anyone know if this is due to the ongoing upgrades to the site (I hope), or have they all sold out (please daddy no!)!

In order to test payment acknowledgements from the payment gateways I had to disable the password protection on the shop. Despite putting announcements at the top of every forum saying not to use the shop, the minute I did so, eyerybody and their brother tries to use the shop

Eventually I removed all the upcoming events to stop people attempting to order.

Got to say I tend to use the "new posts" link when I check the site

When do you hope to have the shop up and running fully? I assume the memberships, etc can be done in the shop again?

Shop is up and running with PayPal ONLY at the mo (though you don't need a PayPal accout to pay). Membership are no longer controlled via the shop. We have an all new membership system with instant upgrade and full member control. Plenty about that in the member's area and FAQ Forums.

John, there are still slots remaining, so no need to panic yet. If you want to reserve a slot, then just send me an email on john@sidc.co.uk confirming you'll attend, and you can pay by cheque (made payable to SIDC please) on the day. When the shop is back working again, I'll reduce the stock count by one to compensate. If you want to pay by card, then you'll need to wait until the shop is back up and running.
