I believe he has to send a photocopy of his ticket along with a letter explaining it had fallen from his windscreen within a set time - the ticket bloke could not believ it and was very sympathetic towards ben and helped him by telling him to send photo copy only then he could produce real one if need be in court.

The ticket guy was a decent bloke

He told Ben to dispute the parking ticket and even apologised to him for one being issued by his colleague
