griffo Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I've got a horrible bird sh!t mark on the roof of my car which I would like to get sorted. I rang a dent\chip place but they said they cannot repair marks of the roof of a car. Does anyone know anyone that can repair marks on the roof of a car? Or somewhere they can recommend where I won't get stung too bad for a roof respray? Any help appreciated, thanks.
dazzlers82 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 give gary at colourise a call he done my full respray for me an he is very competitive 01795 581333 tell him darren gave you the number
darryl_martin Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Also you could try Scoobytoo if he's about, or Muddy or someone who knows what they're doing with a rotary/PC. It's amazing what some people can do with a bit of polish.
spikey Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 if you are looking for a respray, i would deffinately agree with dazzler give Gary a call, top man
matthew_buckland Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 If you looking for someone local then there is always the guy thats just done my respray, he did a brilliant job, and he's only in swanley village.
tony_cousins Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Why not have full body wrap ?? Any colour or design and if you get bored with it you can change anytime you want. Company in Whitstable called WRAP-IT charge £1200 but let you put a £250 deposit down and £100 a month but you can change colour etc half way through, plus if you get any damage you can just replace the panel and not the whole respray again. I have seen there work and it is top notch
griffo Posted August 28, 2007 Author Posted August 28, 2007 Sounds interesting. Sorry for being a bit thick but what is the difference between a respray and a wrap??? Thanks...
tony_cousins Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 A wrap is where your car is literally wrapped, think of the virgin media work vans etc. Its like having one big graphic over the whole car, takes a day to complete and you can have anything you want from simple one solid colour to faded colours or mettalics and even carbon fibre !!! It is garaunteed to be fade resistant and once on you treat it the same as a paint job ie polish, wash etc . It is far more scratch resistant and if you do damage it you can replace parts f it and it matches straight away unlike paint Hope it helps Tony
alan_newton Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 http://www.kodeperformance.co.uk/ he does all my work on my cars an all my freinds cars, hes based on sheppy an can do any colour or style as hes had paint jobs in mags. he well priced too
luke_clifton Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 I'm currently saving for a respray, thinking of letting Scoobyclinic spray it.
