How about some of us head up for the Abz Casino evening in aid of Santa Cruise

Posiible plan could be hire a mini bus, or bail into the back of my van but i prefer the minibus option. Hire one from Arnold for the weekend, maybe Grampa Billy could obtain a wee discount in aid of the SIDC. As has been mentioned accomadation is available nearby or we could all shack up a Travel Inn for the night, either option is cool with me as it does not involve sleeping in my van surrounded by people with a fondness for sheep. A van aint gonna cost hellish much for the weekend between a few of us. Diesel costs would not be an problem, nudge nudge wink ink say no more

Santa Cruise total fund is down on the same point last year and the way we are just now i dont think we will be continueing on the same level of presents as last 3 years. Instead of PS3 and 360 consoles think broken Sega Mega Drive and an Action Man from The Barras with special lead paint. This is not good, we have a reputation of raising loads of money for Sick Kids every christmas.

So lets get up off our backsides and see what we can do for this great cause

First off we find out the cost of hiring a Minibus for the weekend

Then we find accomadation nearby

Not rocket science now is it

For the newbies, search for Santa Cruise or Yorkhill

Thanks for looking now let me know your thoughts

Look on it as a Karma thing, possibly in the Style of my name is Earl. For every sick kid we make smile this xmas then a traffic cop will be snoozing as we hammer past them at naughty sphincter clenching speeds.

I would put my hand up regarding doing the driving and collect and deliver peoples ######, not ###### as in donkey cause i aint carrying not horse type creatures but ###### as in botty. So everyone can be merry and be delivered back to thier door safe and sound

I'm a little out of everyones' way (20miles North of Aberdeen) but if I am home, I am sure i can put several people up in my "average 2-up, 2-down" home and we'll cruise on in to the event?

put me down for a ticket anyway and i'll pay it even if I don't manage to attend. it is for charity after all.

You will need to leave earlier than that then. Fastest fingers first :icon_salut:

Ah yes but you forget one thing. If we let grant drive the mini bus we'll be there in no time. ;)
