car spec and in the end was

1. Tsl Sportscat downpipe to tsl centre to Afterburnervortex Back box

2. APS Cold Air Induction Kit

7. STi High Pressure Rad Cap

reason it pops and bangs so much is i asked andy to map the overrun settings to allow it to do this [:D] iam such a big kid but it sounds great

When do the pops and bangs occur and how frequent are they on the overrun?

yeah still on the standard turbo.

pops and bangs are set to go off betweem 3k and 2k revs get a few pops and the odd loud one harrd to say some are different guess it all depends on the exhaust system that is on the car and what it would echo like down the exhaust ill try n do a wee vid at the weekend

John its the VF35 me thinks

You need the other relevent mods too of course [;)]

Ah yes. I keep forgetting that Standard STI bits are different from standard WRX bits!!!! My bad! I have had an e-mail conversation with AndyF and he says I am good to go with the VF35 and a sports cat! So I am trying to source said parts 2nd hand. I see a TD05 for sale and that was an AndyF recommendation, but I don't know much about these things so I have posted a request for help, So, HEEEEEEELLLLP!!! [:o]

What diameter exhaust do you have?  I'm looking at the same mods as your self but a Milltek 3"system with sports cat.

Let's see the vid of it singing then!![;)]

ANDYJDMSTI - post the vid up mate.

Cheers

The video consists mainly of the wind noise i caught hanging my phone out the window, you can hear it banging away but the booger was just too far away to hear it half decent.  This will rectified soon when Squirrelvision does a wee feature on this car somewhere in the Highlands, next couple of weeks
