Hi Dave, Just read through that thread, I'd say what ever you actually do, dont post about it, its not worth it...

but on a lighter note, where about in the town did it happen, Only reason I ask is that I live in town also, and have a red (albiet Mica red) salloooooon, so I'd like to know that it might be safe....  Need to get the missus to go check on it like...

dont need exact address, just rough area... PM if you like...

Cheers dude...

Guys, just read the full story on this and would like to add a wee bit of warning. I live in a small village and we very recently had a problem with a young ned (15 years old) stealing badges off cars so I cleaned out the garage and put my new RB320 safley to bed every night! unfortunately my son in law did not do the same with his Evo 8 and the toe rag nicked the badges off it damaging the paintwork in the process and the guy next door had his TVR done as well causing £5K of damage. As you can imagine in a small village word gets around and it was'nt long before we all knew who was doing the damage and my son in law and his neighbour decided to pay the little shit head a visit. His parents wanted nothing to do with it and point blank refused to believe their wee boy was involved so my son in law told them that if he saw the little toe rag in his street he would break his feckin legs then come back and do the same to the father! The police were called and my son in law was cautioned for using threatening behaviour towards a "minor" but mysteriously the badge thefts stopped! The police were very sympathetic and told us that the threats had spooked the little twunt and when they went to search his house they found to trace of any badges - why did they wait untill the twat had been threatened to actualy go and pay a visit? The police are too busy hitting on the motorists as they are easy targets, clean cut guilt on the radar gun so no hassles! taking the law into your own hands will make us all feel better - untill that is in years to come you want to take the wife and kids to Florida for a wee holiday and you get refused entry due to your criminal record!!!
