little vodka goblin Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Well done! I'm still one of the idiots who's standing outside in an open sided "bus shelter" come rain or shine just to have a quick ciggie, wish I had your will power, just think of all the bits I could buy for the Scoob if I stopped smoking, ooh actually perhaps I will try to stop now that I've thought about that.
edmondo Posted July 9, 2007 Author Posted July 9, 2007 illness gave me the kick start mate - otherwise I would probably would have been stood next to you - however now I have got going its only the thought of me looking stupid by going back to them that keeps me going..............................anyway isnt smoking in a bus shelter now illeagel lol
little vodka goblin Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I must admit it has made me cut down because I've banned myself from smoking in the house too and it's not quite so relaxing sitting in the shed with the spiders - they'll be campaigning next for a smoking ban! []
edmondo Posted July 9, 2007 Author Posted July 9, 2007 lol - oh so true...................they only start complaining when they start coughing lol....................tbh at the mo dont feel any better for it...............got a bit of a chest infection still thus getting sugar out of the cupboard is like running a marathon thus another boot up the arse for keeping on giving up...........mind you pay day soon so wonder whether I will feel the difference that way?
jd Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 keep at it guys, if I can be of any assistance or help. I gave up 7 years ago when I met Vix. A good help is to find a distraction therapy, i.e. I used to eat refresher sweets instead of a smoke, take about the same time as a smoke.
monkip1 Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I made my mum stop smoking, I gave her a bad chest infection [] OH what a loving son i am!.
