willie25 Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 i recently bought a forge dumpl valve atmospheric type since fitting it ive tried changing springs spacer etc,my car has been running like a bag of mince jerkey unresponsive etc,ive put the standard recirculating back in and its smooth again,is there any gains to a bov or im i just better sticking to the standard one, cheers. willie.
david_taylor Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I had a dump valve on my old RS Turbo, and to be honest I felt no difference. I think you have to be running a really high boost for it to work properly. Well you did on the Escort. After a while the noise done my nut in and I took the valve off the car. Never been tempted to put one on my Scooby after that. Dave
