Finally got my new Projector Headlights from the USA & talked Wayne (From Club-Jap) into fitting them for me.

So its out with the OLD []

And in with the NEW [6]

Just gotta get them adjusted right now. I did do a quick job myself but after having a couple of 747's land in front of my house I decided i'd best leave to someone who knows how to set right [8-)]

looked at these lights about 6 months ago but couldnt justify spending that on them , did you know you can get them here for quite a bit less , prob not what you want to hear .also the ones over here are e stamped ,i believe the usa ones arnt ,could cause probs with mot .

have to say tho they do look [H]

so you may have to change them for your mot..they look spot on but would be to much hastle for me in having to change and aline them for an mot.

I first looked at them back in December but had other things higher on my list so decided to leave them until I got most of the exterior finished.

As for the MOT, I took them to my local mechanic who also does my MOT's & he said there perfectly legal as soon as they are adjusted correctly so no worries there.

I think these are the ones your on about UK PROJECTOR LIGHTS if so they are exactly the same as the USA version as both the ones sold over here & the ones sold in America are imported from the same Japananese company the only difference is the ones sold in the UK are about £15 more expensive (Inc P&P) & only seem to do the Clear version not the Blacked version.

They do look the nutts & i'm well happy with them, just need to get the two spoilers for the back end now & then the outside is finished...

As soon as i've got the new Boot & Roof spoiler's then the only exterior work will be very minor i.e touching up the paintwork, blacking the rear lenses that kind of thing.

Then its onto the interior & minor engine work. I already have a few bits just haven't fitted them yet but the main stuff wont get done till next year:-

Carbon dash surround (Just needs triming & fitting).

Carbon twin pillar pod plus gauges (Needs fitting).

Full re-trim in black leather with gold alcantara.

Colour coded dash re-trim.

GaugePlace Demo Gauges in 3way dash mounted pod plus others (For Promo Work). 

New speakers allround.

Possible PS2 install.

Apexi Dump Valve (Needs fitting).

Apexi Air Filter.

Possible Turbo & TMIC upgrade.

Stainless covers (Battery & Filter Covers Already Been Gold Plated).

New Hoses (Not sure what I want yet).

AP Racing Discs & Callipers.

 

Think thats about it. Should be finished by end of 2008 if all goes to plan...
