sti pretender Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Does anyone have a picture of STI Genome gauges illuminated? Green dial Red needle. Was going for Red Smoked Defi's but have seen a set and would match the main cluster. Know St3ph3n has a set but he's away just now.
sti pretender Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Thanks Higgy just what I was looking for.[] Genomes it is then.[] Car sound like its going to be fun once you get a stronger clutch. Mentally unhinged just got a bit more mental.[]
colzo Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 These gauges look great and would love a set but couldn`t justify the price for my standard (well PPP`d) STI. []
st3ph3n Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 You got your answer there Robert. Good choice of gauges I must say. Loving JAC's setup with the 4. That water temp one must be rare as rocking horse shit.
st3ph3n Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 It's hard tot ell from the pic, but is that a 52mm boost one rather than a 60? I've got the 3 "standard" ones in 60mm in the pod, but always quite fancied getting another one for the pod and moving boost.
_jac_ Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Yes its 52mm boost, having it on the steering colum makes it essayer to se when your giving it some beans.
jimser Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 not genomes but i thought id post up a picture of mine anyway lol
_jac_ Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 not genomes but i thought id post up a picture of mine anyway lol Nice one jim, iam likeing the photo [Y]
gogsie Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Nice Gauges Jac [] Liked the steering column boost gauge myself. Actually prefer it to the pod mounted I have now, UR right it's easier to see when giving it some.. As long as you remember to look around it to see the petrol gauge. The red BF's go better with my dash but I should have went for the same set up as I had before. A fair motor youv'e got there now jack, You thought mines was OK but a bet yours is a fair tool. I will be after a PAX lap from you the next time we're both at Knockhill. Only home for one this year and that's September. Hope the weather's good.
scoob fae ork Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 not genomes but i thought id post up a picture of mine anyway lol This maybe a daft question but is that blue or white Defi's

Thanks Gordon, When i seen your set up that day at knockers i thought it was the dogs and had to have them when i seen the up for grabs. Thanks for throwing in a new controller as well mate [Y] Yes you cant see the petrol gauge when its below the quarter but thats a small price to pay. I remember your car well, It pulled very strong in low to mid revs and I bet its still a good weapon to be in buzzing round knockers in with all that lovely torque to play with. Will try to get the knockhill in september and we can have a wee blast in the cars to compare the difference between them that would be fun []
