Hey guys and gals

I'm gonna be using my Impreza WRX as mine and my best mans car to get to the church on time next Saturday, therefore I would like to have the car professionally valeted. Does anyone know of any such place around Elgin that will make the blue beast gleam [H]

Thanks

Swifty

P.S. If I don't reply over this weekend I apologise it's my stag weekend down in Edinburgh [:(]

Yeah big difference between valeting and Detailing, if it's a valet then do it yourself and spend the money on some good products. If it's the full bifta you're after then Iain or Polished Bliss is what you need. Full detail from Polished Bliss should set you back about £300-360 and takes 2 days, Iain will do it for about £100.

There is a big difference between valeting and detailing, however, if you can find a really good valeter/company, then they should be able to get it into top condition, although not detailed condition.

I normally charge around £70 for a full valet, but i also spend a good bit of time on the paintwork, using clay bar, and top quality products etc, but im fussy when it comes to the job i do on a car and like to have it looking its best, even if i have to spend a bit extra time on it for what i charge.

If you can find a valeter like that up your way, then its worth the money to get it done professionally.

I wouldve offered, but elgin is just a wee bit too far away for me [:(]

cheers

Iain completely agree with what your saying. A good valeter is hard to find, the deatailers will go that extra step to perfection by doing the paint correction etc. So if you are really an@l about the finish then it's the way forward.

I remember a couple of years ago buying 2 brand new Subaru's. Went to pick them up and it had looked like someone had cleaned them with sandpaper (swirl city). After that I made sure that every new car I bought would only be washed before I picked it up as some of these guys don't have a clue about cleaning cars. It only takes one monkey to feck up your nice new car [:(]

Swifty good luck on the marriage.

I am FULLY aware the differences but even a good valeter can ferk up your paintwork.

I don't know of any up that way so Polished Bliss came to mind. He'll not be disappointed if he goes to see them!!

100 miles is a bit of a treck for me but have done it before. fully booked this week i'm afraid so will not be able to help you out sorry. There is a difference between detailing and valeting so would decide what you want first then choose where you go. Good luck for the wedding and hope the stag goes as well as mine the other week.
