nanaki
Anyone know of this stuff? Only just found out about it. Only available in very few locations right now but presumably this would be the fuel for those with imports if they did roll it out across more of the uk? http://www.bp.com/genericsection.do?categoryId=6621&contentId=7017179 Link to comment

lestippp
Read an comment on this in Autocar last nite and they say you will hardly notice any difference over 97 or 98! So don't bother! I am now using BP Ultimate after religiously using Vpower and have noticed no difference other than slight improvement in mpg. It is a type UK though so probably of no use to owners of imports. frazer_gallagher
102 ron costs 80 quid to fill the`tank and u need 2 get the staff 2 come out and put a code in the pump! wot a carry on and now am skint!!!! car does perform better but not enough to justify that price! Link to comment
nanaki
well at least someone was mad enough to try it for us. 80 sounds a bit off though. what price was it? Link to comment
thefastone
OH.....! MY.....! STARRY EYED SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!! I think I payd near on 50 poonds last time I filled up (it was near on empty) so a £30 hike over that is perhaps a bridge too far... :-o Link to comment
nanaki
actually at the advertised £2.50 on BP's FAQ a 50 litre fill up (which is about normal for me) should have cost £125, not the 80 stated above. btw did you rest the ecu to learn the higher fuel grade quicker? Link to comment
exvaux
last time i used bp ultimate it was 62.50 to fill the tank plus the booster so 80 aint that bad if and its a big if the performance was there and got better economy, shame theres nowhere on this side of the country that sells it id prob give it a go. craigdmcd
car does perform better but not enough to justify that price! This stuff won't make your car go that much faster on it's own boys. This is almost the equivalent to the the Elf Turbo fuel and Carless that the rally cars have been using for many years now (nearly £4 a litre the last time I asked!!). To get the best from it, a full remap, and an extra dose of boost should be dialled in. On the rally cars, this fuel is worth around 25-30bhp with the remap. Link to comment
