got my wee boys birthday go-karting outing in the morning, will i still be able to get out on the track if i turn up at 12? (his mum booked the go-karts, but i've already told him about this and he'd be gutted if he couldn't go!)

I'm up for this, but don't know how to add my name to the list. should have launch control and hopefully a wee tweak to the map by then. just hope the clutch can take it!!

car has covered 100k. the turbo was areplacement unit 13 months ago by the previous owner. the garage that fitted it dont seem to have changed the oil feed pipe!! not to worry

yeah its a garret, part no 708 639. it's from the 120(woohoo) BHP six speed model. seen loads of them fail, right across the renault range.

thanks mate. i think the £400 ones your talking about are from eurocraparts or similar. wouldn't touch these. essex turbos quoted more than 4 plus vodka. want 2nd hand one as i'm in the middle of buying stuff for my scoob and this has come at the worst poss time. my budget is tight enough as it is!! Semtech motors are carrying out the repairs, and i'd like to think they know their stuff with turbo's. cheers, stevie.
