I agree. Wheel baring.... My mate had the same problem on one of his cars. It got stupid loud on accelaration and only found the problem ones we had it up on the ramp. We jacked it up a number of times and could not see the problem.

I also dropped out from this at the last minute. I had a charity event to attend on Saturday which my other half arranged and we over ran some what so were driving around still collecting money etc on Sunday. Glad that there were some good points raised and that the out come was good. Look forward to seeing Kent Scoobies move forward

Yeah i have ben looking into those issues. Anything before 2003 really needs an engine rebuild after 20,000k miles and a new clutch... My research continues

hmmm a tough but a nice decision to have to make I am not to sure... I might be tempted to go for the GT3 as I would get itchy feet having had a scooby before. I am looking into these at the moment

The one i bought was about £200 and it should have been about £250. The research i did lead me to believe that you should have one with 'storm bars' which reinforce everything. I am sure i have the receipt somewhere as they also offer discounts and delivery. Someone did tell me that they saw the same thing on ebay a little cheaper. The thing i have is pretty robust and is pegged down at the legs. It would have to be pretty high winds and i mean high to move it. Count me in to support it chaps...

I am considering going to Xtreme scoobies to get a new clutch as mine has been slipping in 5th and i an noticing it more and more. Can anyone recommend a better place? and what else is worth considering getting done at the same time? Thanks all!
