It was the down pipe i believe but Dean would know more than me. I would just get it up on the ramp and have a butchers. I was told it was a blown gasket by one garage and it was actually a missing bolt hence the gasget was not sealed!

Which car, In the current climate its a nice problem to have.

Not yet but just had a few niggles sorted. Offside Rear Shock A vibration from the engine bay which turned out to be a loose nut and bolt (which I had once before so was confident it was nothing major) Could also smell exhaust fumes in the cabin with air blowers on. Another nut and bolt sorted this one. All sorted When is next meet, have not been to one in ages!

Hi All, I have been chatting to the owner of cincitydesigns who modify all makes and models of car headlights and produce some seriously impressive finishes. To give you an idea of what I am talking about check the pics below which are lights from 350z (obviously they do other cars and they seem to think that anything is possible): The pretty much do any colour and more pics can be found at http://cincitydesigns.com/gallery.htm The company is based in America but is currently planning to fly over to do a bunch of 350z owners cars. Obviously this would be an ideal time to get others done but there is the option of sending the lights to them which they will modify and send back if you wish. The lights are totally unique as far as I am concerned and are therefore priced accordingly. If you like what you see and would like more information, please post below so we can get an idea of interest. If the interest is there, I will invite them to answer any quesitons and price etc. Might be a bit to bling for some of you but I think they are fantastic.

Super Strong Velcro from B&Q. Comes in strips and pads. When I first put the plates on one was slightly wonky so I went to adjust it and it was velcroed fast. They wont fall off.

Bought meself er... another ride. As some of you already know, I have been looking for a new project over the last 6 months. Needs to go so will be open to sensible offers if you know anyone that may be interested. Would prefer it to go to a loving home Also, popped into Lidel in sidcup and they are selling the padded boards on wheels that allow you easy access underneth your car. Might be interesting to those of you that are keen DIY at home

Car was a 320 se Compact Diesel, Black Reg: KA03 FFD Apparently police have now confirmed that it went through dartford tunnel just after 6 last sunday.

Its a sad state of affairs. What goes around comes around and this chap will get his.... The only thing I could come up with was that because she said it was on the red and needed petrol that perhaps he popped into a petrol station not far from the house. Say within 5 miles. It might be a long shot but what if they have him on camera and he used a card to pay for petrol?..... We are talking about a 8k car so i would visit each petrol station I could think of just in case.....

Its a girl at works. It was a BMW but police reckon its gone. I am amazed its as simple as that. In hind site there are some things you would question if you have some experience of car sales but we can all be caught out. Nothing the guy gave was real including address etc. If you are selling a car, make sure you have a fair few chats with the seller first, visit them. Get a home number, check the car over fully etc. There really should be more available to help people caught out by this type of crime. We pay silly taxes for police services and when it comes down to it, no one ever really holds out any hope.

Other tips I have been reading are: 1) Get home telephone number of person and their mobile 2) Take Bankers Draft to bank and pay in. 3) Phone the bank where cheque was issued and they should confirm that cheque was created but not much else.
