  1. Had a look at this one myself and couldn't see an I.D plate and also asked the garage owner if the engine had been rebuilt?

Answer; Not got a clue mate ,why would it need the engine rebuilt?

Left the showroom shortly after that....

Doesnt sound like this garage has much experience of Imprezas, the guy from my work got exactly the same info (Or lack of it)

Hope the link works. One of the lads at my work has his heart set on a P1. He's seen this car in Elgin and been to view it. It looks quite tidy, but he's concerned (And rightly so) that there is no Ident Plate for which No of p1 it is.

Just wary that it could be a Type R, tarted up to look like a P1.

I've told him to post on P1OC, which I think he has done, but i said i'd ask for him on here as well.

The service book is full of Brian Downie stamps, so could well be an Aberdeen/shire car.

  3. Very nice mate - I remember actually going to test drive a WR1 but ended up buying a new Hawkeye - The WR1 i looked at wasnt in the best of nick.

Yours however looks mint, and I'd still love to have one in the future.

    Enjoy it!

  4. Saw loadsa scoobs on my way back north from Glasgow. Cracking day for it.

Ones I can remember, and got a wave....

    Bronze Colour Hawkeye Wagon B)

Blue Bugeye Wagon B) (Sorry I was a bit late in waving back - was keeping my eye on the fanny in front who was trying to kill everyone on the road)

And Lastly I saw a Ice Blue Hawkeye WRX, on the Forres-Grantown road. :D

Saw a few more, a white classic amongst others.

I was in the GB270 Saloon.

    Al

  5. I am just glad that he is ok, what a tremendous knockout!

It really looked like he had suffered serious damage especially when his eyes were failing to focus for such a long time.

He made the huge mitake of trying to go toe to toe with Manny same as he did against Jones Jnr.

End of his career i suspect, he has been a brilliant example of boxing talent though, here's hoping he enjoys his life with him missus and wee boy he has earned it!!!!

Aye scotty, dont think he'll come back from this. (wouldnt want him to either tbh)

Hopefully he'll call it a day, and chill out with a few pints! And cheer on Man City :D

  6. Double checked with Andy F the answer is no, it would have to be polished & ported & it might must make it but you really need to go up to VF34 / VF35 which is good for 340 - 350 if you ever wanted to go that far.

Bugger! Best get looking for a new turbo then! Gonna need another never-never card!

If I remember correctly I'm sure it's a TD04 thats fitted to the GB207, need the uprated 255ltr/hr fuel pump about £85 - £95 & the injectors that are fitted are the STI ones good for 350bhp, as Welsho says better getting the intercooler for safety margins,

    If you contact Carl at

He usually has JDM STI TMIC on the shelf removed from delivery milage cars prior to getting modded naxt door at Litchfield, you might have to pay around the £300 mark but they are genuine new parts & they cost more than twice that from the stealers, you will also need to get the undertray & rubber seal to get the full benefit & direct the full flow of air across the face of the new intercooler, & then brakes & a map even more ££££££sssssss  no  credit card maxed out, wife moanin like F*** great fun this modding carry on

    Cheers Bobby - I'm a Turbo-Biff, is the TD04 good for 300bhp?

  8. Sorry to slightly hijack the thread, but its relevant in a way.....

Anyone know what Turbo, Injectors and Fuel pump are fitted to a GB270? Planning a visit to Andy F soon, and wondering whether the above items will need replacing to get near 300bhp, or if this is achievable with whats fitted. (Bearing in mind that a GB270 is basically a WRX with PPP)

All i've done so far is upgraded exhaust from 2nd cat back, and HKS Panel filter.

    Any help appreciated.
