Could have been mate, 20 wires in all. I made a point of heat wrapping them too.

Just a tip, when fitting new headers make sure its not touching the wiring loom at front of car!! Lost a headlight and then noticed loom had bonded itself to the headers even with wrapping. Just spent day replacing wires and relocating. Could have been a lot worse Also listen to your misses when she says she can smell burning after explaining its just the WD40 burning off!!

Make sure its ultra clean, plenty of water spray in a bottle, soak everything including the sticky side. Get a rubber flat edge to push out water and bingo.

If you dont own a Dremel get one now, what a tool!! Yeah 3 evenings to get off but worth it I hope. They are tubular I believe and have 3 bolts on down pipe so more reliable I'm told. Not sure of make, bought from Japan.

Stuck with 2 seized bolts at back of down pipe, the 2 that are close together!! Ive sprayed and heated. May have to buy a Dremel and cut them??

Should be ok ive gone for un equal length set of headers. It has 3 bolt attachment (thanks Ian) and no flex on the up pipe so im hoping all will be well.

Definately not blowing, I fitted it and checked. It sounds like a knock Ive heard.

Whilst I've got the bumper off, is it worth doing headers and up pipe. Have we got concrete power gains or is it just a looks thing?? Ive heard of power loses on one dyno experiment. Help and comments please.
