so am i going to be the only one at next months meet that isn't a commitee member ha ha ha ha

i,m used to it mate i've worked shifts for over 10 years so a couple of hours sleep here and there is the usual:)

Why not have a run out and meet up with different groups within the SIDC? that way you not only have a good little drive out but you also get to meet other members of the SIDC. As for the runs out side of things and family's, i for one would not want my wife or my soon to be baby with me in my car when i was going out on a 'spirited' run.

Did you get those figures with remap alone or had you done other mods before the remap?? Andy full de-cat and panel filter, also no resonator on the airbox and a uprated fuel pump. bob reckoned i was putting out 292 and 299 on his laptop but the figures i got are from prosport .

must say simon i do agree with the majority of what you have said. I dont want to put CADS/SIDC down as i have always said CADS offers something different to SMACS. I prefer weeknight meets and the runs out but with a baby around the corner a run out on a sunday afternoon is attractive. Also i do think the website is way to quiet and if i need to know something i will always ask on scoobynet, this is not really CADS fault but i just feel that the SIDC site is not attractable as its to serious for some people. I,ve always enjoyed all the meets i've been to with the CADS and hopefully i'll be there next month but what i do think is that if someone wants to move the club forward like jonah and others are then you should let them, the CADS logo has been up for discussion before and it was shot down then. Some people just dont like change even if it is for the better and unfortunantly there is nothing you can usually do about this. What simon also said about the 2 clubs meeting up is something that has always puzzled me. If you go to SMACS meets they have people from clubs all over the north west and even sheffield coming over and joining in, car clubs are built on the back of people's passions for a particular brand and ours is subabru so why dont CADS ever take part in this? SMACS has grown a hell of a lot because of its friendleness and its openess to other clubs so why cant CADS try and do some of this. Also just because another club does something it doesn't meen you cant.

got mine mapped the other week by bob rawle and got 276 and 311 its like a new car unbelievable pickup now, suprises a few people as well being a wagon:)

I took my car there the other week to get rid of the last of them horrible little cats and to be honest its a cracking little garage with nice lads. The boss had a nightmare fitting my up-pipe and it took much longer than he expected but there was no additional charge. How much did the 60k service set you back ste? getting mine done early next year so it,d be good to compare it. I,m getting mine mapped in feb by bob rawle and cant wait, thats the last of my mods then as the baby come,s along in march so no more fun with the car. (for now anyway). Oh and what was the other major mistake they found mate?

A few of the smacs lads are coming over on sunday to show there support of cads. this is by no means some sort of meet up to try and bitch or have a argument its to support other local subaru meets and has been on the cards for some time. unfortunatly there has been a few words taken out of context on the scoobynet site and they just want to show that it was by no means meant in a malice way it was simply some banter that got took the wrong way. also i would like to point out that one of the main people that was doing the bitching no longer owns a subaru and will not be coming.

does anyone know how to get hold of steve as he sold some parts on scoobynet and the fella,s having a moan about not recieving them yet. i,ve replied to the fella saying he,s reliable so can someone let steve know he,s getting a bit of a slagging off please
