Glad you're happy mate, your old car looked nice sitting there yesterday... but the Spec-D is a great machine, 1000miles of 'gentle' driving is a drawback though. [

How much were you for the mudflaps mate?? PM me if you prefer... [

.......just wondering what you guys are thinking about your new cars??
Been chatting to one of my mates and we're both pretty damn close to taking the plunge and getting ourselves involved!! I know its a March-Only deal, but I've found a couple of them still listing at £19,995 down south at the same garage, hoping that our local man on the inside can get his hands on them/other ones for us. [
] Its very very hard to ignore the £8,600-odd discount over the list price and the idea of trouble-free, fast, reliable and warranty covered motoring REALLY appeals to both of us after running out of patience with older performance stuff that is around.
Any feedback would be brilliant. [H]

IMO, you'll struggle to push things beyond 350bhp with a 2.5" exhaust system, starts to get pretty restrictive at this point from what I've read/heard... and I always thought that the STi Version 7 came with a VF34, rather than the VF35 in the STi Version 8, ya lives n learns eh!! [

Sorry to hear that, guess its bitter sweet.
Is it staying in the Owners Club then Fee??

Thankyou for all the good comments... I'm hoping that with a couple of subtle mods, it should transform the look of the car completely. I'll keep you all updated. [H]

Can only see three wee red crosses... but going by the replies, I'm not missing much!?

Thanks a lot for the comments... I seem to have a knack for finding low-mileage UK Turbos and this one is by far the cleanest one yet, it is absolutely minted, serviced on time rather than mileage and came with a stack of reciepts!! [H]
Had a wee health check done by Weir Subaru not long after it arrived in Scotland and came back pretty much tip top.

Details are:
MY99 UK Turbo
White
31k miles
FSSH
Sony MP3 Player
Scoobysport Backbox
Subaru Carbon Headlight Protectors
Anyway, here are the pics... very standard looking, but absolutely great to drive, still very tight and smooth.
Future plans are styling based as I've got the Celica as a performance toy. I've got some Anthracite 17" Speedline GT1 wheels and a STi V6 Lip sitting there and need some Clear Indicators, STi Rear Lights and a bit of colour coding to get done to finish it off. [H]

I'm not too fussed if there is a Non-Scoob list or not really... I think it'll be a pretty damn short list!! [

Jason's car doesnt exist any longer, which is why I removed it.

Hmmmmmmm, is it a P1 with some cheeky Prodrive extras?? [H]

When I fitted gauges to my 98 and 99 Scoobs... there was a spare port on the Inlet Manifold, right in the centre, there was a rubber plug, remove this and feed the pipe directly from there.

I'd expect all the cars to be Subarus as, just now (v.busy), I cant really think of anyone that owns a different marque actively posting or turning up to events apart from me... am I unique?!
The 12.67 is my Celica, I re-read the 33 pages this morning and I'm pretty sure that we'd got over the "Scooby-Only" thing and agreed that it was a "Scottish Scoobies Members" list back on one of the very first pages... If you go back you'll see that Gumball made a comment, which I responded to and as a result my car stayed on the list until I went to Australia.... when i re-read the thread today, I noticed that later on, Gumball removed my name from the list on his own initiative, awfully nice, but I'm just replacing it now that I'm back and in the Celica again. Hoping to have an updated time within the next wee while, which, fingers crossed will get me into the Top 10 as it stands at the moment. [H]

Updated with my times, hopefully be able to improve on the 12.67 when I pay a visit to Checkpoint to get a few parts fitted... and then book myself in for an appointment with The Dentist to get things running the way they should be. [

1.8bar, haha... Thats not shy!! [H]
4th gear, interesting, I was a little further down my gearbox. Must be cause I've got a 5-speed, nothing to do with the difference in bhp/lb.ft between us. [

Thanks so much for the organisation and effort put in by Imy, Grant and Higgy... This run was the best one yet IMO. [H]
Amazing day, had an awesome time in the top group... Only bought the car at lunchtime yesterday and was maybe a bit over cautious towards the beginning of the day, but normal service was resumed quickly and the car held its own very well. [

Oh, and to the person that said, "whats that Celica doing here"............... I couldn't let you Scooby boys have it all your own way. [

Not sure if he uses this forum or not, but was wondering if anyone knew if he drives a rather nippy Blue 55-plate EVO?? If so, I think I had an encounter with him this morning on my way to work in Fife in my Celica. [
