oh well i must of dreampt it thought it was worth a mention. ta anyway.

hi guys ive had a my00 for a couple of years now, and the missus uses it to & from work but shes just changed jobs and is doing 35 mile round trip so its costing us about £8-£10 a day depending what mood shes in, anyway, i remember when i bought it someone telling me about 'turning off the turbo' so its like a n.a engine, i assume if this is possible it will be done by a solanoid opening a vavle somewhere around the turbo???? if anyone as heard of it or had it done a bit of info would be great, it might not save much on fuel anyway. help appreciated, cheers damo.

hi guys, i had to call subaru assistance the other day because my key fob would not work and i dont know my override code, all he did was tow me away from a phone mast and it worked fine, he also had a bit of a laugh saying it was ironic after i told him i put masts in as a job. Anyway, he mentioned that the dealers do an upgrade to resolve this problem, has anyone heard of this or had it done? is it just a software upgrade? any idea of cost? i drive a my00 classic with f/f cat 1 alarm and immob. any help would be appreciated, cheers briggsy.
