  1. Silver classic with a broken fuel pump in at B D Engineering in Newington on saturday and a Silver new age in Hempsted Valley on sunday.
  2. I'd love to go but I'm in Nottingham this weekend, maybe next time, and definetely when it's warmer!
  3. Silver classic going into Sittingbourne today, seen you round loads but first time for ages I was in the Legacy.
  4. Deano, u got a proper garage or just do this in your spare time?
  5. I drove past that little mess this afternoon. Her Fiesta was munted to say the least, and the Escort didn't look too bad. Can't you claim on the insurance against the owner of the car? There is an uninsured drivers kitty that all the isurance companies pay into for things like this, and if the car was stolen you should still be able to claim against the owner. Hope everyone was OK.
  6. Right.....after getting up really early I was turning the car around and because it was so quiet, I could hear a tyre rubbing noise coming from the nsf wheel and sure enough the tyre has a bulge in it. I looked at the tyres when I rotated them, but it is so subtle yet it covers almost 1/4 of the tyre's circumference!! Am I going to need four new tyres, or shall I just get two? There's still quite a lot of tread left on them, say 6-7mm at least.

  9. Well that's what I may be trying next. I noticed the discs and pads need changing on the front, so I'm going to do the lot, which will hopefully show up any binding. But in the meantime, if someone has a spare set of wheels and tyres sitting around which I could borrow for a couple of days please let me know
  10. Well, I was in the car today and it was pissing me off so much I just wnet up there and had it done, and it was miles out. So they adjusted it all, and guess what, still pulls.
  11. Well maybe we could sort out a mini day out at Elite, seeing as me, you and imprezyou want to go. I really want it done before the tunnel run at the end of the month.
  12. Right, had a look on the ESC forum and they're planning a visit for teh 20th November. I can't wit that long to have it sorted, so I'm going to book me in for another day. They're open on saturdays, so will look to book it in next weekend or the following one.
  13. I can't remember if I've seen it or not....If Tiny is deffo going in a couple of weeks then I'll wait till then, at least I'll get a discount, but on the other hand I'm not driving the car at the moment cos it's just handles like crap.
  14. If you've read my post in the technical section, you will know I have problems with the car. I want to get a full alignment done to eliminate that as a possibility to my car pulling left. What's the best place around these parts to get it done, and does anyone have any prices? I know of Elite in Essex which people always use, but was wondering if there was anything closer to home. Marc.
  15. I was over there in June. Best things to do are: Victoria Peak/Tram Walk up to the top of Nathan Road (the main shopping bit) Star Ferry between Kowloon and HK Island Bank of China building A good tour around HK There's so much to do, and it's all very cheap. Get a good guide book and do take an organised tour, as HK is so hilly it's tiring walking around (especially if the humidity is still anything like it was when I was there!)
  16. Sheerness has it too, going to get some for the first time tonight!
  17. The other half will be working so I will be there!
  18. I live in Sittingbourne lol! I've just removed the bloody thing cos it was soooo annoying! But I can put it back on it 2 minutes if need be.
  19. hmm, maybe I need to try and explain it again, have read what I wrote and it's not clear... The DV holds the boost when I'm accelerating. When I let off at low boost the valve opens and shuts several times quickly making a phurrrb noise, when I let off at a higher boost level it will go tssssh, then goes phurrrb again. Could it be that the spring isn't strong enough? Is the DV26 adjustable?
  20. DV26, twin piston type, it's almost as if the spring isn't strong enough.
  21. Hey guys, maybe you can help me... I recently bought a Bailey DV for the Legacy, fitted it, and while it does go tshh, it also goes pfffurrrb, like someone blowing over a bottle. I had a look while someone revved the engine and you can see the dump valve move when the throttle is let off, then it goes up and down very quickly doing the pfffurrrb noise. Anyone got an idea why?
  22. Go to their stock page ---> Nissan ---> the top Skyline......
  23. << Its in the topic subject mate September 17th >> D'oh, I read throught hat twice to see if I could spot it...
  24. Around when are you thinking of doing this? I'd be interested, but really depends on the date.
  25. Other than the Leg, I use a 1990 903cc SEAT Ibiza for the daily 70 mile round trip for work. Returns 45mpg and only cost me £10 off ebay
