  1. Hope I haven't miss it, any dates organised for it. Don't mind where we meet up.
  2. I notice a lot of people are mentioning Tesco's for car insurance, but they would not insure me unless I had a Tracker fitted to the car and my car is a standard 2001 uk spec wrx.
  3. I have a 2001 wrx (uk spec). I'm 29 with 7 yrs no claims and I am paying £665 fully comp with a £250 excess amd protected no claims with elephant.co.uk. Worth a try
  4. Remember the royal mail strike has caused delays. But you should have a separate fob for the immobiliser with the subaru logo on it and like Blue Boy says the key open and close buttons on the key should not operate. Check where you're rear fog lamp is. This is usualy a giveaway for imports (first generation impreza's had rear fog light below the bumper if they were imports). If you're speedo does not have mph on it, and only has kph thats a giveaway of an import. This most common giveaways that I usually see on impreza's that live beside me.
  5. My car got the 20,000 mile service two months ago by my local subaru dealer and my car has only covered 16,000 miles. Thanks for your help, I thought also it might be dodgy fuel.
  6. After filling up with shell optimax over the weekend, I have now got a misfire and the car is reclutant to start when cold. Has anybody else had a problem like this? Or any other idea's to what the problem could be?
  7. sorry the open and close buttons do not work on uk cars
  8. You have not said if the car is a new age impreza 00my-02my . If so the car should have additional key fob for the imobiliser as the open and close buttons don't on uk cars. The key fob should be blue on one side with word subaru and the badge. If it does not have that, then it is a import. Hope this helpful to you.
  9. Thinking about going, if so anyone leaving from dundee????
