I agree. I had 2 BMW's before the scoob, and wouldn't think of myself as arrogant. And my old man drives a Saab, and he doesn't have a beard! I just get fed up with people tarring everyone with the same brush.

Did anyone else read this about car stereotypes! I would hardly say all Impreza drivers are "boy racers" who should be given a wide berth. Love to know what the writer drives. Let me know what the rest of you think. Am trying to think of a decent response, and would be great if a few others responded as well. Cheers.

I got mine done at Glenburgie Subaru up in Forres. Nice guy, who knows what he's talking about.

Just checked my gear box dip stick, and it is on the L. What do I use to fill it up, and where do I fill it up. Sorry if this seems very straight forward, but I am not very mechanicaly minded, but I am quite keen to learn.

I've got an HKS induction kit, and it is great. Lots of folks advise not to get it, as it can damage the MAF sensor, but so far so good for me. It gives off a great whirring sucking noise, which just adds to the other great noises produced by the car. My advice is, if you want one, get one.

It was my first day back to work after Christmas last year, you know the really depressing 3 days in between Christmas and New Year. I was heading to work, on very, very quiet roads (thank god), which had been covered in a very thin layer of snow and black ice!! Went round a nice corner on a lovely back road, lost control of the scooby, and parked it nicely in the wall on the opposite side of the road!!! Resulted in a bent bonnet, bent right side wing, broken front bumper, smashed fog lamp, and smashed quad lamp!!! No car for about 5 weeks, as it took ages to get it fixed. Still not happy with the front bumper as the insurance company refused to give me an STI one, so I had to pay half of a 3 part splitter. Roll on this winter!!!!! Hope you get your car fixed soon.
