  3. I use my scoob as the every day car, and it is a 30 mile round trip to work, so you can imagine how much petrol that is a week.
  4. The interior is black and grey. I would love to keep it, but between the insurance and the petrol, its quite expensive to run, and as we all know, kids aint cheap.
  5. I would agree, but due to the subwoofer, the pram doesn't fit in. It's breaking my heart to have to do it, but needs must.
  6. I think I am going to have to sell the scoob. I will have owned it now for near on 2 years, and really do not want to part with it. But as child number 2 is about to be born at anytime, I think I need something a bit more practical!! Don't know how much I want for it yet, but if anyone is interested, it is an MY98 WRX STI Type RA import. I have recently stuck a brand new STI engine in it, which I have the receipt for. Other extra's include an AP Racing clutch, Goodyear F1 tyres, adjustable STI spoiler, lexus rear lights (still have the original STI ones so they will go with it), morette front lights, strut brace, subwoofer and amp, good stereo, 16" Speedlines, bailey dump valve, and a very smart HKS induction kit. I also have a blitz turbo timer, still to be fitted, which will be included. I have not had it on a rolling road, but this car is pretty fast. If anyone wants to make an offer, feel free. I have private plates on it at the moment, but I got it with a 'P' plate, as that is what it was registered as when it came into the UK. This is a very reluctant sale, which I have thought long and hard over, but family has to come first.
  7. thanks Chris. It's official I am now a regular.
  8. I have finally reached my 100th Post.
  9. This is the second one, so have forgotten what the sleepless nights are like! Thanks for the reminder.
  10. Mentioned that to the wife, but she wasn't too keen!
  11. How much would I be looking at for new pads?
  12. My wife is due on the 3rd may, but I was thinking, how cool would it be if she gives birth on Thursday, 5th May. The babies date of Birth would be 5/5/05, or written another way 555. Nice one. I think that is the best Subaru Mod anyone could ask for. I'll let you all know if it happens.
  13. Thanks Chris, took me hours to think that up. Think I'll have a look at mintex. How easy is it to fit brakes yourself!!! or is it a job best left to the profs.?
  14. I would like to upgrade my brakes. However due to an engine replacement, the wallet is not to full at the moment. Does anyone know where I can get good brakes at a good price in Aberdeen or surrounding area? I should've really done the brakes before I did anything else, but you know how easy it is to get carried away. I thank you in advance.
  15. Had a wee search using google for this, but could not find anything. However on some other forums, there seems to be some talk of shell replacing Optimax with a new brand called V-Power. This is already available abroad, and is 100 RON. But don't get too excited, I couldn't find any information on this directly from Shell, so it may just be idle gossip. If anyone hears anymore, keep us updated.
  16. My RA doesn't have a roof vent. Is it possible to get this fitted, as I think it looks really good?
  17. Hi mate.
  18. Spent hours wahing the pride and joy on Sunday, then a big flamin' seagull came along and left its mark all down one side. Don't know what it had been eating, but what a mess. Why do they always wait until you have just washed the car? Do you think they know?
  19. Got mine off ebay as well. Looks great, and was cheap as chips!!
  20. Not yet, I've been trying to think up a witty response, but so far have come up with nothing.
  21. Hi and welcome. Nice car. I am a bit like Spooks, your street looks a bit similar to my street. Could it be that we are neighbours?
  22. Next time there is a SIDC outing, maybe a drive through the lovely village of Skene, where the writer comes from is in order. I am sure the sight of at least 50 Impreza's growling through would soon change her views!!
