  1. I am considering removing the cover from the underside of the vent (under the bonnet) on the air intake side of the bonnet, to try and put colder air into the air filter. Has anyone else done this, or is this a stupid idea, and will probably end up damaging something, due to to much water getting in. Advice kindly accepted. Craig
  2. Can anyone work out from my photo where the turbo timer fits? I think it may be the black one, but there is only 2 cables going into this.
  3. Now I've got it, I want to give it a try. But if I can't fit it myself, I may well sell it.
  4. Am I right about it fitting in between the black connector? There is so many wires, that I am really not sure, but the black one is the only one that seems to come straight from the ignition, and seems to have a connection that will fit. I've had this blinkin' TT for so long now, I just want to get it fitted.
  5. Turbo Timer Pics I have added pictures of my turbo timer, and under my steering wheel. I think it should probably go into the black plug, am I right? Also, I know the black lead on the TT is the earth, but where does the orange go? Advice greatly received. Thanks, Craig
  6. It sure was, cheers for the wave, nice car.
  7. Does anyone know where I can get the sort of 'S' shaped radiator hose that goes on the top of the radiator (just under my induction kit), for a 1997 WRX, in the Aberdeen area? Would anybody have this in stock, or would I need to order? Thanks in advance. Craig
  8. That's brilliant
  9. I came the back way tonight, just in case. Thats the road which goes heads towards Wester Ord, then you can nip over to Westhill.
  10. I know what you mean. I am trying to understand HTML, but am having no luck.

  15. Hi Cal, if you had said a week ago, you could've had mine, but I have now decided to keep it. Good luck in finding one.
  16. Cheers Robbo, I will remember that.
  17. Does anyone know of anywhere in Aberdeen that could fit my turbo timer??
  18. Ok, cheers for the advice
  19. Hi Kart man. It's an MY97 WRX. I have looked under the steering wheel, but the conectors are different to what is on the turbo timer? Anymore suggestions? Thanks.
  20. I have a turbo timer sitting in my garage, but have no clue how to fit it. I phoned Blitz for instructions, but they said it was a UK product that I have, so couldn't help. Would anyone have a set of instructions. I bought it off ebay, hence no instructions with it.
  21. Dipsy, I still have the front cat on. I have considered removing it though. I thought she may have mentioned the tinted windows, as they are quite dark, but she didn't. A complete random check. I am still confused.
  22. Even a day later, I am still unsure why I was followed to my door. My neighbours will be thinking I am some sort of nutter
  23. Funny you should mention it, she did take my telephone number
  24. First day back driving the scoob, and everything is going great, until I pull into Kintore on my way home. As I pass the junction at Sandy Thain, there is a big Omega patrol car sitting there. I am doing just under 40(it's a 40 zone), and the patrol car pulls in behind the car behind me. She stays there all the way through Kintore. I take a left up to where I stay, and surprise, surprise, the patrol car follows. I pull into my quiet cul-de-sac, and ooh, shock horror, the patrol car is still behind me. Too much of a coincidence I think. I pull into my drive, and the patrol car pulls up behind me. The reasons for being followed, was she thought my tax was out of date, which it wasn't. She then said that my number plate wasn't visible enough. I told her it was a standard one out of Halfords. She told me it should have a BS mark on it, which, of course it does, and she managed to find. She told me that imports can acctually have a smaller plate, but she is going to check this out for me. I wouldn't mind so much, but it is really embarrasing to have a very noticeable police car sitting outside your house, in daylight, when you have done nothing wrong. In the 2 years of owning the car, I have never been stopped (touch wood) so I hope this isn't the start of it. The number plate on the back is the same plate I have had on for 2 years, and have had plenty police cars behind me, and never been stopped for it. Sorry to rant on, but I just had to share this with you all.
  25. WUZ, what does your car look like again?
