Can anyone help me locate a replacement off side rear light cluster for MY01 frog eyed 5 door WRX? The one that is on the car currently filled with water! That I released by drilling a hole in the bottom left corner leaving behind a large rusty tide mark Nowlsey @ Xtream Scoobies recomended a place in Manchester called Grade A but they do not currently have any in stock but it would be £55 if they had and the main dealers want £122.40. Can anyone help me? I have also cosidered replacing both units with the clear replacment units from someone such as ultra but can't find anyone selling them for a MY01 frog eyed 5 door, although i have heard that ultra have started making them. Do you no if this is the case and does anyone have the web site address for ultra? ideally i would just like to replace the rusty one with a second hand (cheaper than new) original unit.

Does anyone no any more about the impreza lpg thing then?

MY01 WRX completly standard seems to start pulling at about 2000-2300rpm then takes off at about 3500rpm don't no why but it is completly awsome. Been thinking about a stage one ppp or sim (265) but dont no what benafits this will bring.

I own a completly standard MY01 5 door WRX so no i dont have a decat pipe. Interestingly The greenfuel company quoted me for a specific auto gas conversion kit but when i contacted auto gas directly via email they do not make a kit specific for the impreza and the kit that green fuel had quoted for fitting had to be specially set up for my car by the installers and i cant remember the first part off their company name but it was (somthing) & Mclaren supposed to be the dogs at this kind of conversion.

I also would not bye a diesel as they are more enviromentally polluting than petrol just cheaper to run

sell my scoob and bye a mondeo why would i do that i have had subarus for eight years thats becuase i enjoy driving them, i enjoy the solid safe feeling i get went behind the wheel of a subaru they are individual i must pass 1000 fords a day i dont want one i just want the option of running my impreza more economicly if i choose to and lpg seems to offer me mondeo running costs with all the other benifits i like.

I was aware that LPG had a higher calorific value than petrol but thought that just made it burn hotter! Very interesting but still no closer to the truth. Iam as bad as the rest of you there no way my scoobys getting lpg untill i no its safe for her, but iam very interested in the possible financial savings and it now seems there may be a power benifit as well and of course its very green. Yes interesting! But brings us no closer to the truth about lpg. And optimax will never be 0.39p/l and enviromently freindly. In actuall fact LPG will remain significantly cheaper than all other fuels due to governments commitment to pollution and infact in the very near future the goverment is going to introduce a pollution tax on all enviromentally damaging fuels and lpg is not one of them i wonder if optimax is

In october this year there was 1200 lpg stations and rising there are two near me and i didnt realise until i looked but if you run out of lpg switch back to unleaded.

Do you really need all that power all the time? I dont! When iam heading off on a 4.5.6.7 hour drive to go diving i rather be paying less than 50% for that 200,300,400 mile journey and put up with a 2% loss of power in my car that would be 2% of 218ps thats 4.36ps hardly notable on this kind of journey i wouldnt have thought.
