  7. Congratulations to you both
  8. Good pics guys and gal I enjoyed it alot but it was frustrating at times- I'm a bit of a slow learner so i would need 3-4 of these to master the skills at the very least- some people pick this things up quicker When the guy took my car around with me as paasenger you can really see what the impreza can do in the right hands... Heal and toe= hard (wet metal pedals and shoes don't help)- didnt really crack this in the 20 minutes! Left foot braking= excellent I saw the entire benefit of that and used it all day (I made the mistake, and was warned, that you mustn't forget your left foot is on the brake and then slam it down cos you think it's the clutch!! (at about 60 around a right hander)) Cadence braking= (pumping the brakes) again useful stops the flipin aBs coming in too eagerly The long bend = I enjoyed this (including my 360!! which confused my ECU for a minute and set the CEL off) I finally mastered the subtle op lock adjustments only then to muck up straightening her up again- frustrating!! I really could of done with more time to crack this - but it was coming The figure of 8= hard to drift a 4wd car -even with the DCCD rolled all the way back i got it going but couldnt seem to hold it or cross it over to drift around the other way (lost a lot of time on this on my lap). It is possible as Stormy showed us in the Spec C Steve and Skull's cars both showed us that the suspension upgrades can result in better performance/times - it is possible to have too much power on a short course Thanks to Steve and Susy for lugging my wheels, spotting the collar issue Thanks to Ian for helping with my wheels Hairy DJ for the brews and biscuits The Evo guy for showing my his sequential gearbox ( er slightly sexy bit of kit!) Thanks to Stormy and the other guys for the words of wisdom I had a few pics will post them On my birthday list- torque wrench
  9. Yeeha
  10. I'm meeting Eureka at Shell garage off J4 of the M20... where you coming from?
  11. Nice one I got some cheap wheels to run on now so can push a bit harder without worrying Got a little ride in Eury's beast today - drives, holds and sounds spectacular- some seriously sexy sounds coming out (if your a noise-nerd like me anyway)- God i miss my shortshift ! The difference between 350 and 450 torques is huge... Battery died today so had to get a new one- so hopefully will start in the morning
  12. Good to hear you Yogi But due to trackmaster tomorrow 6am I will decline this month next month?
  13. Like it - nice one Happy Holidays to you too and all at SIDC
  14. Exactly i don't want the emotion caused by a commotion on my Work Emotions -
  15. yes post 05 wheels nuts hopefully will fit
  16. I would love to run it on my road tyres - i'm hearing your reason Fudge... BUT at £500 a go I can't justifiy it at this time of year- so i'd rather knacker some other tyres - they aren't cheap tyres they are pirelli p zero with good tread which are pretty good tyres- there will be a handling difference i admit but i doubt i'll drive as hard on the roads as when im on a trackbased scenerio I don't have my own helmet either Are these CG locks devices any good - they look useful?
  17. Assuming my nuts aren't too big i'll be grabbing some spare wheels tomorrow
  18. will know by next week! I know it's next week
  19. i think goodridge are well respected I've had them on all my scoobs - i think most people have with some uprated fluids - millers dot5.1?
  20. Right thats settled then If this guy comes good and me nuts fit i'll get them Cheers y'all David it may be easier to use yours so i know what to do for next time (!!).....;-) I'm reet excited- hope this guy with the tyres is able to meet me after all this hahaha I wanna see Eury's and Fudge's horses released as well ...
  21. I had one on FAJ it measured 122dB- I liked it- my old woman neighbour didn't - i would get another one- with a bung for the mornings though
  22. I've emailed some guy about some will the STI standard alloys still fit with these lightweight extended nuts fitted on mine? I'd much rather go 100% on some spare wheels and not have to worry- but it's still more cash at Xmas time you see... Hoo- as for the meal i thought you were putting it on your company tab- 08 tax write off??
  23. Can't decide whether to buy another set of secondhand wheels/tyres for this... any idea how hard this is going to be on my tyres as i don't want to miss out cos i get worried about wearing my tyres out!! (you know me i like to worry) new tyres (if required)= say £500 S/H wheels/tyres= £200 Seems simple...... but if this day is going to eat a set of £500 tyres maybe i shouldnt be going I wanna drive like Ken though
  24. It says no spectators on the manual... but that might just be on the airfield area
  25. Let's wind that dial back.... yeeha I'm going to probably have to run on these tyres too...
