I'm getting a big bike in the summer and I doubt whether the standard exhaust will stay on so i'll be back in tunnels.... that is til I get my Zonda F obviously (in yellow please!)

People it's true It wasnt a secret I wasnt going to say anything until i got the new car (tomorrow) It is indeed a 330d Black BMW touring (10 speaker stereo, M-Sport pack (suspension upgrades, 18" inch alloys), heated seats, xenons, new toys to replace the berserk performance of the scoob- this car is no slouch though!) It was time to move on and go do Daddy things - dogs, prams, shopping, etc The scoob didnt fit the bill anymore... and it ate all my spare cash... It was a sad day though- miss her already but needs must I'll still say hello though

I've got my Rallyday tickets though i didnt notice it's the same day! - Looks like i'll just be there on the Sunday now- damn it - nothing all summer then it's all at once!

1. None of the insurance search engines allow me to specify the Prodrive Performance Pack as an option. What do you guys do? Call the insurance firms and tell them the details of each and every component? I dont really want the hassle - is there an online provider that does decent rates for old low-risk guys (I'm 46) that understands the car and standard options versus aftermarket bling? My old Scoob had the PPP I just told the insurer a 10% power increase and a strainless steel exhaust on the phone I cant remember the insurance co everyone uses someone will be along to help 2. The only thing I'd like to change about the car is the gearshift, which is heavy. Is the shortshift upgrade likely to give me a lighter, faster mechanism - or is there some other non-exotic mod that would do this? My new scoob has the short shift - I think it makes a difference over the long shift which my old one had 3. The wheels are 17inch Prodrive items. What, in your opinion, are the best road-legal tyres to use, if ride quality is unimportant, wet grip is of some interest but dry cornering grip (I love trackdays) is paramount?
