Ive been wanting to own my own website for a while now, nothing to do with cars. How much is it costing you for the domain and is it totally yours, and not some providers site. I use piczo as my sites host but there a bit strict on its content.

I was thrashing my car home from Manchester tonight, and when I got to crewe as I came off a round-about I couldn't get a gear at all. I stopped, turned the engine off and sliped it into first. Started the engine again and drove back to nantwich using all the gears fine. As Ive pull up in front of my house its happened again. 5 minutes later when I drove it up the drive it was fine again. Any ideas whats going on.[:'(]

So what ya think then? your jealous aren't you..go on admit it, you all want a go in it. The boots not much cop tho!......How could anyone get bored with a scooby really.

Demon tweeks sell them ready painted for about £30 fella. I got mine off ebay for £10 but had to pay £25 to get it painted.

Well I brought a new car. Its fantastic. Its probably not quite as quick as the scoob but because its smaller and lower it feels a lot quicker. I'll post a picture of it in a bit. I'm thinking about keeping the scoob as well tho.

I'm bored with it now. I got it in November but fancy something different, something smaller and lower. Some sort of 2 seater red sports car. I'm going to look at a couple of cars tonight.

The plot thickens. Ive taken the door cards off front and back and found nothing but the noise is still there, somewhere. On the upside I found the child lock switch on the back door, which I wish I found 6 months ago.

Alright muckers, how's it hanging. Anyone know how to get the passenger front door card off on a 2000 UK turbo. There's something rolling around in the bottom of the door that sounds like a marble and its driving me mental.

Take those 2 screws out, then prise the 2 vents out, then prise the whole pocket out. Use a flat screw driver or a butter knife. Then unscrew the lid. I drilled a 10mm hole in the pocket for the vacume pipe and cables to pass through. Then ran the wires and hose from there into the engine bay. Theres loads of room. I ran an earth down to the chassis next to the gear stick and a live (which only comes on with the ignition) to the back of the headlight wash switch. Its all very easy, just takes a long time to do it. I had to remove the centre console, radio, gearstick and handbrake surrounds. I also took the glovebox out but try to do the job without removing it, It rattles and creaks alot now. It took me about 3 hours to do it. Then you've got the problem of securing the gauge pod to the pocket. I used a load of sticky back sellotape pads. They work a treat. Oh and ignore the crap gearknob in the picture, Ive got a sweet new 'Trust' one now,

Drill a small hole through your handbrake handle with the button pressed in and slide a pin straight through it, now you've got a fly off handbrake. Build the revs up to 4000 rpm and fettle the clutch till you can feel the car tugging on your handbrake. When the lights change let go of the handbrake and floor it. Just before you redline it slam it into second and hit the NOS button, then change up to 3rd just before you redline it and turn off the NOS. It worked in my 230bhp peugeot 205 anyway. It used to beat subaru's everytime, but now I've got an impreza. At least I dont have to worry about someone else, in my old car smoking me at the lights, because I wrote the bloody thing off. After I'd spent almost £11k on it mind

I must have about £200 in change, all mixed up in an water cooler jar, it weighs a ton but I can't be arsed to count it all out and put it in those stupid little plastic bags from the bank. I'm sure I've heard someone say theres a supermarket somewhere with a machine that sorts and counts it for you, for a small percentage. Anyone know where there is one. Plus i could do with some survival tips as I've never been in a supermarket before and I'm a bit woried.

1488 replied to fireproofcolt69's topic in North West England
tescos fuel in crewe in poo, its only 95 ron. Sainsburys in nantwich do 98 ron and I'm pretty sure its the cheapest in Cheshire too. -
Alright chaps and chapettes, would the seats and door cards from a 98/99 WRX fit into a 99 UK classic turbo. Its really the seats im interested in and not bothered about the door cards. Cheers.

ABP motorsport near Shavington do a lot of work on impreza's. Its behind the petrol station on the way to the M6. They seem to know there onions. Mind you saying that, I took mine there to have the timing belt changed and they broke the cover. Then I took it again to have new discs and pads fitted to the front and they sheared the bolt off the ABS warning probe. -
You've got got some nice cars down there. For southeners anyway.[] That white classic of numptys is very nice.

Nice one mucker. Did you fit that steering wheel yourself, because I want to fit an aftermarket wheel and snap-off hub for security reasons but I've been having trouble getting all the plastic gubbins off the spindle so I can fit my hub. No one seems to know how to do it.[:'(]

Don't know what this dudes been upto but hes lost an arm and his hand doing it. Might have been trying to fit a de-cat down pipe. As long as your not stuck behind them, Tractors RULE.
