About phil_burgess

  1. From the same place you linked. they did a group buy on Zero Sports goodies on SN a little while ago.
  2. I have one of these on my 03 WRX, it has made quite a difference. i see less activity on the nocklink, and the car seems more energetic in hot temperature. The cool- air intake pipe didnt really do very much, slight increase in throttle response.... it looks good though.. did i mention the pipe looks good by the way did i tell you it looks nice
  3. www.techfever.co.uk i got 2gb of pc3200 for just over £100 a couple of months back.
  4. paying for 8mb, but my line can only handle 4mb/512k
  5. make sure you get there early, so you can get a seat near the back, as i was sat near the front when i saw the matrix there. got a sore neck from moving my head to watch all the action.. i found a better sollution in the end. got a HDTV and a copy of the HighDef version of the films much better
  6. I'm pretty sure that is real, as i have seen it on a japanese subaru site makes me glad i bought a blob eye, as that car will make the blobeye hold it's value better as its soooooo ugly
  7. Sunday made me feel proud to be a part of SIDC (not that i wasnt before). The organisation was great and i think all the toys we bought, should keep them occupied until next year Phil is the best Santa i think i have ever seen, the kids at the second home, didnt want him to leave I just hope it atleast twice as big next year
  8. scoobys are crap in the snow............................................... until you find an empty carpark when it snowed last year i provided the entertainment at lunchtime
  9. I can upload movies to it while it's parked at work, as it has wireless network or i can just connect another laptop to it and upload new music to it. The laptop was free as the screen was smashed, so that saved me a few hundred. the touchscreen cost's around £200 on ebay, but i needed an extra soundcard, car power supply, noise filters, remote control. I think it was just under £330 for everything. But this does involve some dremel work cutting bits of the dashboard and screen off (my neighbours think i mad ) i thought i had killed the screen at one point as it wouldnt switch on, took me a couple of sweaty hours to find a broken connector lol
  10. I havent seen anyone else do this to their wrx in the uk, so i thought I should do it to mine. Would have taken a day less to complete it, if Subaru put decent electrics on their cars The pictures don't do it justice, but thats the best i could get out of my camera ! once i sorted the noisy electrics i was surprised by how much better it sounds than my £200 panasonic head unit did. it has dolby digital 7.1 (only using 2.1 at the moment ) thats a 7" touchscreen running from a 1ghz laptop It can store 80gb worth or mp3's and movies, which seems to be enough as i have nearly every album i own on it and there is still plenty of room left The only thin left is to figure out how to intergrate a decent gps navigation system onto it ohh and maybe a reverse camera ? do you think it will catch on ?
  11. Shame i couldnt make it, my car was in too many pieces to be able to drive in on Saturday
  12. it's not a mission as such, you just spray them as you find them !! where did you get the spray from, i have run out after spraying 25 of the damn things
