oh dear oh dear. you get SMOKED by an evo........you then go on the modding rampage and spend a wedge on power mods for your car. then you'll probably get SMOKED again by an evo......im thinking this time by an older one, maybe a five or a six which probably has less power but can out handle you and your car. your going to be livid! so ............why not just bite the bullet and buy an evo in the first place and save yourself all the embarrasment and wedge? my opinion only of course!

ive recently changed from optimax to bp ultimate as i had a heep of bother in the evo with optimax from morrisons in camelon. just my observation but its night and day now.

why not use bp ultimate ? did no one see the recent test in evo magazine?

3. bmw e30 m3 x2 (smashed the first one sold the second both white)

5. escort cosworth mallard green. (its an escort and you can tell)
6. subaru uk300 (looked good , no power)
7. civic type r ( excellent one off my favs)
8. subaru p1 (again excellent until nasty engine mishap)
9. pulsar gtir '90 (hangin in bits but a hooligan off a car)
10. pulsar gtir '90 (not so hangin in bits but spat a big end)
11. evo 5 (spot on, except id prefer an rs)
sure ive missed one or two? i think i enjoyed them all even the bad ones!

paddy im sticking with evo's should have an evo 5 rs very soon so need to shift this to modify it ready for summer. cant tempt you then?

no exact figures mate but it should be definately 350 bhp. i know of another couple with similar spec that are running 380 . it ran 13.3 1/4s at 1.1bar so 1.5 should see a drop in times

it has been known! it could also be rog, tho he is usually pretty tidy round k/hill. wait till next year when i try out my new lsd. done away with the ayc should be a load easier to drift!

having owned and driven both its plain and simple , the evo is the one that mekes me smile the most . as for a spec c beating an evo 9 in squirrels dvd its hardly a fair comparison unless the evo was an rs version which is more like the spec c. which imho would hav wiped the floor with a spec c still rather have a 5/6 than 7-9. 6 rs II for me shortly.
