why would you want to do that though, 95% of people buy these cars to drive them not too look at them and polish them ian, you could have bought a 1.0 corsa and still do what you do now,to the rest of us a 1.0 corsa wouldent cut it

you see those people who passed you? well they would have normally left with the first group on one of grants runs, now can you see the point behind it

exactly!! "most" people go on these type of runs to drive there cars, not to look at horses ####ing in fields and sing songs about bonny mountains of some place i canny bloody spell

because he cant control everybodys speed can he? so it makes sense to let the people who prefer to go that little bit quicker go out infront away from everybody else

Grants idea of the groups is by far the best and "SAFEST" way to organise a run, put all of the quicker lads out in front away from everybody else, mix everybody up and you`ll have people overtaking everybody else because of slower cars infront of them

aye thats cause im usually stuck on some pile of rotting rust watching seagulls sh@gging there backsides off ive been on all the runs ive been home for though

like i said above i was sawing sticks in my bed when this happened and wasnt there, so cant comment on what might have happened, but ive been on quite a few runs over the years and there is always a bit of spirited driving, the diffrence this time is somebody has brought it up in another forum and it seems to be spreading, if anybody has ever been on a run and not been past 60 or 70 (what ever the speed limit might dictate) hold your hands up now there will maybe (but i very much doubt it) be one or two who hasnt, but i can guarantee 99% of folks have pushed it a little bit, may i also point out for any body looking in it was a non SIDC run and nothing to do with this club what so ever

didnt get home till 4(ISH) this morning in a VERY drunking state, so didnt get out of bed till 4PM this afternoon with a hell of a hangover to punish me for my sins lol it`s gonna be a long night tonight!

last i heard there was some airfield being mentioned some where south of scotland that had a really long runway, there was talk of a high speed run, 1/4 mile and a handling circuit over a two day period

there was word of something similar either last year or the year before, sort of like a scoobyshoot out thing for scottish scoobies, think it kind of fell by the wayside though

wish i lived closer to you lot sometimes
