Having just bought an 03 STI Type UK Prodrive, 24k, fssh. Can any body please advise me of the best possible type of oil for this car. Obviously it's been main dealer maintained, with service intervals of 10k, but I believe in replacing the oil more often than that and would like a definative answer please? I realise that I could just take it to a main dealer and let them get on with it, but wonder if they would always use the best oil or simply the cheapest!..(The car will have 'enthusiastic' road use). Read your message with interest. Have been asking myself the same question! Did you get anywhere with your research and if so which one? (need some help before it's too late!!!)
