  1. He was not trying to undercut the subaru, the subaru was already round the hairpin when the cosworth hit him, anyway as you would know a 4wd and a 2wd have different lines for the hairpin , the simple fact of the matter is the guy driving the cosworth hit the puddle and aqua plained i dont know why everyone is saying he should pay for the subaru ,you sign on the dotted line to go on the track and you run the risk of something like this happening and if you really want to get childish about it you could say why was a subaru on the track when it was a RS owners club day. I have to bite the bullet and fix my car at my expense i suggest the subaru guy does the same
  2. Can we get one thing straight here, I am the owner of the white cosworth that was involved in the accident at knockhill on sunday, the driver who smashed the car was a customer of mine who has a big powered track cosworth, to be fair he was trying to push the car which was silly especially in the wet,as he came down to the hairpin on the right hand side of the track he hit the puddle of water as he was braking and started to aqua plain from there on in he was just a passenger and could not do anything. the mechanic who works with me was driving the car in the morning, he is the former brittish gokart champion and at only 18 is the current scottish rally champion and as on every other forum you will see people saying how awsome the boy was flinging the car around the hairpin etc. its a shame what happened but thats the risk you take when going to a track day ,i feel sorry for the subaru driver but how do you think i feel ,£10000 to build a car to finish it on the saturday and to get written of on the sunday without even having a shot of the car.
