Got to try to arrange a courier 2moro to bring a set of 4 wheels & tyres up from derbyshire..... approx. weight would be helpful, as would contact details of any decent couriers

The dealer hasn't offered me anyhting for them yet - i am going down there 2moro morning. No idea how many miles the tyres have done, but the car has done around 16K miles and i would assume they have been on the car since new? Maybe not though.

Trading my standard 17-inch alloys in tomorrow for a nice shiny set of 18's. They are the dark silver/anthracite standard wheels (it's an 03-plate WRX). Tyres are all Bridgestone Potenza RE050 215/45/R17's, all with AT LEAST 5mm of tread on them. Alloys are in pretty good condition, got the Subaru dealer to refurbish them before I picked the car up. They could do with a good t-cut and polish though. How much should i expect to get as a trade-in? Or, if anyone is interested in purchasing these off me (might be ideal as track-day wheels) then drop me an offer via PM Cheers Andy P.S. Located in West Lothian.

i agree with 2559B.... Stevie Walkers in Bathgate, also maybe try Cairns Coachworks in Addiewell, near West Calder. Never had anything done there but heard a lot of good things about them.

I don't think the wrc gets the TV coverage it deserves. Love those in-car shots of the cars doing 100mph+ on the narowest of roads Never miss an F1 race though!
