  1. They seem to charge £55 plus vat per wheel regardless of the state they're in - I'd only scuffed mine about 6ins along the rim so on a £ for £ basis its perhaps not as cheap as someone who's riding in the gutter and constantly smacking the rims on the kerb [] Markie recommended me to Spit and Polish but it wasn't convenient to leave the wheel there for 24 hours - no idea what they charge.
  2. bit worried about you and the colour red, especially being a bus driver
  3. Sorted - must avoid hitting any more bricks now []
  4. Dyslexic bloke went to a toga party......dressed as a goat. []
  5. Anyone know a dark, possibly black, scooby been seen by 3rd party lately in Gravesend area - reg something like S800 BY ?
  6. It sure is Barry but the bacon rolls ain't to bad, we all normally take our own food & drink
  7. Bloke had been out of work for ages and finally got himself a job at the local bowling alley and rushed home to tell his wife. 'Ten pin?' she asked. No permanent.
  8. I assume its the usual array of over-priced,over-cooked burger type stalls etc at this Fest in which case presumeably its down to taking food
  9. Two nuns sitting in the bath. One says to the other 'wheres the soap?' to which she replies 'so it does'.
  10. Has it got any service history lol [][]
  11. I fully agree Tony, however this site is not the place to make personal remarks about anyone especially when the accuser cannot even use their own name . If there are problems they should be dealt with off the forum
  12. Thanks Phil - its a shame it has to come to this - personally I feel that if this individual has a problem it should be discussed outside of the Scooby forums.
  13. Ian, I fully respect why , as site moderator, you chose to lock that other thread; it is unfortunate that I wasn't allowed the opportunity to reply to the outrageous remarks that have been made - I'm assuming they were against me even though my username has been spelt incorrectly - please its only 5 letters and 3 numbers. Smiley Shadow, I think if there are personal issues that you, and whoever you are siding up with, are not happy with then the correct place to deal with these would be around the table with all relevant parties in attendence rather than being libelous through the medium of the club forum - this assumes of course that you have the courage to come out from behind that anonymous username. In the meantime I would demand that a full apology be made through this site to myself and Dean and all the other genuine club members that use this site, for the remarks that have been made. Pending that apology, can I just add that I personally feel that you are an absolute disgrace to Kent Scoobies and there is no place for anyone such as you in this club and I feel there will be others that support me in this.
  14. MAY have a spare ticket , although not gonna be certain until probably Thursday night - sorry if thats cutting it fine but will keep you posted in case anyone at last minute looking for one. Its only the £10 entry ticket
  15. bttt - this issue needs to be settled!
  16. Only take her out in the dark......or when its raining and runs to the car without looking at the wheels
  17. That'll be just the 2 of us then [] You just wait Dal , they'll be others that will want to be in that section as well - behind the barbed-wire, away from the rowdies lol
  18. Steady, we could have people agreeing on things and going all democratic [] I fear it won't last...............................
  19. Thank you Jon - I think that sums up the whole situation very well!! Perhaps we should all be told what was discussed at that meeting at Foxs, not only with regard to the shirts, but anything else that may affect or benefit the club
  20. If we're going to be told what to wear by way of club colour why go through all the earlier crap of asking what colours we'd p;refer - it seems that any feelings or opinions that the members had voiced were ignored at that meeting - democracy is alive and well in Kent Scoobies!!
  21. Just hope she never saw that thread with the kittens for sale..........in which case someones gonna be in trouble
  22. Thats fine, however, it was my belief following an earlier thread that white was the preferred main colour yet following Peles meeting with Foxs we were told that the chosen colour would be primrose which at that stage didn't gain universal approval. I accept that if Foxs are contributing towards costs then they should have some say, however surely it would have been better to have come back from that meeting and put their preferred choice to us, the club members who'll be wearing the shirts, rather than say that this is the final choice. .
  23. Tell her its her birthday present - the shop were completely out of cute cuddly kittens so you thought this would be the next best option - how could she refuse? Get her a birthday card and a cake as well and she won't even need to be blonde to fall for it completely []
  24. I voted. I agree with j-k in so far as there has been a lot of input on the poll lately , especially for the primrose option which at one point was lying a fair few points behind the white. I see also that its now showing what option I picked - has it done that from the outset ? Does the system being used stop anyone from voting more than once? Apart from a show of hands theres not going to be a voting system thats not open to abuse.
