Welcome to Kent Scoobies - some of us are sane, some of us are mad ............and then there's the others. Get along to a few club meets and decide which group you want to be in or more to the point, which group you fall into [8-)]
That made me laurf! []
Least they've got there...............again [] Do Scotland take part in the qualifying rounds anymore or do they save their money and not enter lol
Here's a couple...................
"Tell me again...........exactly how many sheep have you lost ? "
" I wish Dave was with us, just look at the state of my hair"
Call me cynical but has anyone else noticed all the new members that have suddenly appeared and voted - 3 of these have never posted before and a couple less than 6 times - and they have all voted for option 1 lol. Where have these people all come from?? Still, we've already been told we haven't got to wear the chosen colour. I think Daniel had the right idea and chose not to vote.
About 3/4 of a page devoted to the relay in this weeks Bromley Times - very similar to report that appeared in another Bromley based freebie last week - but bigger [] Perhaps they'll run a whole page next week for the visually impaired with braille along the bottom lol
We made the Bromley Extra 19 May edition (page 22) - this is a freebie that my friends get through their door. Headed 'Garage hosts rally stage' the article measures about 3in x 2in and carries the landscape picture of us all on Foxs forecourt with small accompanying text saying how delighted Foxs were to have 27 rally cars line up on their forecourt before we went off on our part of the RBMR from Clacketts to Thurrock. Not a bad piece - perhaps a bit small, tucked away on the community news section, but we did get a mention and the objective of the day was documented. Well done to relevant parties []. Will keep the cutting in case anyones saving them.
On the subject of Japfest, a personal thank you to Granby, Markie, Sped, Scoobytoo and Shrek for travelling home at relatively sensible speeds enabling me to keep up - remind me to get some go faster stripes fitted to give me that extra boost lol []
If you're worried about wearing out your tyres before Germany, I'm sure Ian will lend you his wheels - after all he keeps saying how well his tyres are standing up to all the wear and tear of a track day []
