  1. Glad to see my hard work is still present in the Pistenklause
  2. I'll be looking into accomodation for the Sunday night - hope to get a nice discount. That would ease the long journey []
  3. Following on from Brands Hatch last year, we are pleased to announce the details of the next annual club trackday combined with AGM. Donington Park on Monday 5th March. The track day is a noisy day (105dB drive-by - no static noise testing) and the day is a triple club day - SIDC/ MLR and GTROC - hopefully the start of a successful annual event []. So there will be some fantastic cars out on track. Spaces are limited to 30 per club and initially open to members only. Pricing is very keen for such a day - £149 for members. Full details on thread in Track Days and National Events Section - and tickets available to buy in the SIDC Club Shop soon. Any questions - please direct them to me as we (Trackmasters - Stormy and I) will be running the day in tandem with the MLR. So will be a cracking day. The AGM will be held in a suitable venue at Donington Park - details to be confirmed. Merry Christmas to all all and hope to see you on track Cheers Terry
  4. In what way? It's a shame we were put outside the main area. So once we pitched up the stand, most folk went off into the spectator area - which is hardly surprising as that is what the day was about. Still - a few of us made the most of it - at least until the wind nearly blew the stand away [] And we had about 25 cars on the stand
  5. These are 2 different events if I'm not mistaken. SIDC are arranging a club stand at the service area on the Sunday only. Myself and Stormy are running the club stand for the day. Any other events/ tickets are for something different. Hope that is a bit clearer
  6. The 1st track session for the Time Attack cars is at 0900. I don't know about the Japfest show itself
  7. I'll see you guys tomorrow - look out for me on the track []
  8. The service area is in Swansea. The rally stages are all over South Wales - mostly in the Brecon Beacons IIRC
  9. I don't know mate is the answer. Will try and find out though
  10. At the SIDC club stand at the service area on Sunday 3rd Dec - you will see the rally cars arrive and leave the service area and indeed have work carried out on them. But you won't see them in action on a rally stage, unless you head off to one of the stages. I plan to spend the Saturday at the stages and Sunday on the SIDC stand. Cheers Terry
  11. Just to let you all know that Stormy and I have got the nod from Muddy to organise this - and it is going to be the best SIDC event of the year - a nice finale to 2006 [] You've seen the parade laps at Silverstone... How about a parade rally stage [] No cok polishers here, errr I mean show and shiners - it's a rally event - so mud splattered cars only please []
  12. Some Video action of you guys out on track [] Video Hosting - Upload Video - Video Sharing Cheers Terry []
  13. I mentioned to a few of you that there would be photos uploaded to a photographers website today - as he was there yesterday taking snaps and just by luck I bumped into him and he gave me the info. Have a look Click here to see sample pics You can buy them online - either prints or a CD. Their website is www.blackettphotography.com Plenty of great pics [] Cheers Terry
  14. SIDC are invited to have a club stand alongside a number of other Subaru clubs. The day should be awesome with up to 12 Subaru's competing in the Time Attack event. We need your support - for more info see thread in National Events & Meetings - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/731484/ShowPost.aspx Cheers Terry []
  15. Weather forecast looking favourable at the mo.... hope so as 500 miles is a long way to go for a wet event
  16. Which track is that? Also the driver should have had long sleeves on.....
  17. shame he can't keep it in a straight line. If he could then he might set a decent time [] I like the turbo inlet directly in the front bumper - who needs air filters anyway []
