Lol now that was a good dodge but they have changed the way the system works........ Before they had to produce this cert before it went to court which ment you could if it had not been calibrated get away with it But now you have to sign the declaration ie Guilty or Innocent , and they will only show the certificate in the court..... this basically means you will be in big Poo Poo if you tell a porky and say you were innocent when you were in fact going 130 mph So the motto is " Dont get caught !!!!!!"

They would have checked all the details in the cop shop Name of owner insurance MOT your licence this is to comfirm you own your car and it it insured and taxed and mot'd !!!!!! this is just for a projucer, they should have given you a signed copy of a slip which basically means you have done it as they wanted. You will most likely get a court summons by way of post or if you are a lucky bugger you may just get a fixed penalty of six points !!!! and a fine

Leon , yes they can do that, they have a camera in the car which they will have on at all times when following a speeder, as they go under a bridge they use the shadow as a marker and then use the next bridge as another marker point. They have a computer which will then calculate your average speed and it takes into a margin error of what I think was 3% of your speed or something like that !!!!! In other words yes they can use that method and it is accepted in court as long as they have the film evidence !!!!!

Andy, just wondering if the fact it was a small fan at SVA's, would your car have got enough air to the induction kit and would this have caused any of the problems on the rollers ??? Your pick up vents are low down and I would have thought little to no air would have made it to the filter?? Or indeed if any did it would have been warm air !! Just an idea Tony

Hi ya , dont know about fuel blockades Because of the two major players in the oil industry , BP and Esso the price of fuel has risen and all the other companies have followed suit. Obviously if we get stubburn and refuse to fill up for any length of time (Which affects us more thn them ) we do nothing to hurt there pockets, we all have to fill up at sometime and either way the money goes in there pockets. So doing this has little effect . There has been an e mail going round which is sent on and on until everybody hopefully gets it , asking that we use any other fuel provider exept BP and ESSO , and by doing this there profits will drop eventually leading them to drop there prices, and then all the others ie, shell, morrisons, texeco etc will drop theres too !!!!!!!!!! This is why there are queues at Shell garages around the country !!!!!!!! As for blockades we all know the police will force them through like they did at the last strike !!!!!!!! So the moral of the story is DONT USE BP OR ESSO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if they do strike ill have to use my GAS conversion !!!!!!!!!
