  3. The guys behind where I work own a garage and they have just backed in an absolute mint '55' reg Black STi - talk about temptation. I'm gonna have to look at it all day now - thinking about the mobile jacuzzi that I'm driving now and how much I would love to buy it. Think its time to talk to the boss about a bonus!!!
  4. Can't make this one gents, gotta get the water out of my car after the flash floods at work drowned it! Hope the weather holds off for you tonight - will try to make the next one at the Wharf.
  5. We had a little rain this morning and my car is flooded as a result. This was outside work in Carshalton. My car was parked up by the kerb and the road flooded - it must have been a 1 1/2 ft deep!. When I got in it to move it I noticed 2-3 inches of water in the passenger footwells (front and rear). I have never seen flash flooding like it and by the time I realised i needed to move my car it was too late.[:'(] So needles to say I am a little pi55ed off.[:@] I hate the weather in this country - makes me want to emigrate.
  6. Spotted a Blue Blobeye with yellow decals down the sides reg * V V V in Wickham Road - Shirley heading towards Trinity School - anyone on here?
  7. Had a nice little tunnel run through Dartford on Saturday afternoon with a blue classic can't remember the reg but you turned off at the first junstion past the tunnel and headed towards Dagenham. This was about 1pm.

Also must thank whoever brought the chairs along, what would we have done without them [Y] Rich (unoturbo) bought the grey folding chairs - so thanks Rich.[Y] Lee & Rach bought some as well I think - so thanks Lee [Y] and thanks to Trevor for storing the gazebo case in his boot - sorry about the state of it [:$]. [Y]
  10. Hope you have a good time people.[Y] I also hope you have better weather than we did last weekend especially as you are camping for the weekend. Looking forward to the photos.
  11. I like my job but hate having to go to work. Mind you after 5 months of being out of work at home all day I was pleased to get back to work. but I definitely didn't want to go to work on Monday after the pageant.
  12. I know you're game m8 - hijacking the convoy from under my nose! [:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]
  13. Tony, Do you mean the optional 2.8i embossed front splitter!! - It did make me envious of the guy!! Thanks for arrangin it all m8. Glad I could be of assistance with the gazebo even if I didn't know how to put it together - so thanks to TVR for directions and big thanks to Trevor for helping me to carry it in from the gate. Looking forward to doing another show at somepoint. Nice to meet everyone I hadn't met before.
  14. Sorry to hear that Ian - thank god it's under warranty!! [+o(] Mine had to go back a few times when I first got it. Ended up having the loads of bits done that would have cost me a fortune if it wasn't done under warranty. Now the big ends sound like they are on their way out so i think it might be time to consider getting a new car sometime in the not to distant future. A type25 me is thinking. [[*-)]
  15. Found a cloth today that is softer than anything else I have ever felt (apart from my other half that is!!) Won't be much good for washing the car but it would be good for applying/buffing polishes/waxes etc. It's new on the market apparently. Spontex "dust wonder" £1.99 from Tesco Only problem is that it is pink!!!
  16. Cheers mate - allocate me one of the spares if you will please. See you in the morning Matt.

  22. Lee - I'm sooooo gutted for you mate - don't worry tho your car will still look the nutts next to mine!! W****** like that should be drowned at birth [st] - it would save us taxpayers a fortune![:@] It really annoys me that you get in more trouble trying to protect the things you work hard to get, than the people who come along and needlessly vandalise them. Poxy legal system in this country.
