There doesn't have to be loads of you to have a good meal out surely? And 6 is easier to talk to than 20 lol If it was after 6th Sept I'd be going, me and Jake like TGI's lol - also did you try TGI Bluewater as the parking at Thurrock is always crowded and it's hard to park there.

I have the opposite problem lol As has already been said everything I read suggested that I needed to use 100 ron fuel in my RA as it is a import. As soon as I got it I was putting tesco 99 in and OB, and it ran like a pile of poo - school traffic was a nightmare skipping and hopping lol. One day I couldn't get tescos and had to put Optimax in (before V-Power came out) and it ran like a dream, no probs at all . I put some OB in for Santa Pod and again it kangarooed and held back . I did a bit more research and found that when the classic WRX, sti, etc imports were made, only 95 ron was available in Japan - so in theory the cars were made to run on this, and in fact when I put BP Ultimate in (97 ron) it ran better than it had with any other fuel, I just can't afford BP prices lol. Now Optimax has changed to V-Power I'm having the same problems again with the skipping and hesitation, so I'm going to try just putting 95 in and see what happens.... Watch this space for engine rebuild if its wrong lol..... And yes I'm an insomniac....

And thats 5 companies so far, one said yes then I got an e-mail saying sorry but as they will be different sizes it will cost extra money per t-shirt I have another number to try tomorrow, so fingers crossed.....

Right, just started to fill the form in, I can add peoples tickets to the form if required, so if your being lazy then just give me the money and i'll add you to the form and pay by card lol I have also noticed if we need power we will have to pay £98!! so if anyone needs power for hairdryers or anything it's going to be a very expensive hairdo lol. and lastly if anyone is thinking of bringing a gazebo, I need the ground coverage of it to add on the form please.

Sorry for not being around much, I've got a rather major problem [:S] and not been home alot because of it, Will explain as and when I see people as it's not something I want all over the message boards.... Just printed off the booking form and about to fill it in, so it will be in the post tomorrow. Not sure if I will be able to spend the whole weekend camping, but will probably be there every day until late - can't get a good dogsitter these days lol. As far as I know you can come and go as you please in the evening, but I will send an e-mail just to be sure. Have also been to a company down the road from me who do the big viynl (sp??) banners, and am going back there tomorrow to get a price for a new one as the old one is a bit dated now....so some donations would be gratefully accepted towards the cost when I get it []

Dean very kindly sorted out the bill for us for the .com so that we could still use it. I'm waiting for a reply back from Phil as to why the link doesn't work at the moment.

Well I can't say I've driven the type25, but I did drive the new WRX and I was very impressed. My first impression was that they have taken the best bits from the previous 3 models and put them into one car. In traffic it's well behaved, and even in 5th gear accelerated with no lag or hesitation at all. Country lanes were no problem, it gripped well, braked well - in fact when we took it back the brakes were smoking lol. I was however disappointed with the lack of scooby rumble, after all thats what we get them for - although this is easily rectified with after market parts, as is the spoiler lol. I'd love to have another drive now I've got my wrist out of the cast lol.

You have 2 buckets, one with soapy water and another with fresh water. The idea is you use the fresh water bucket to rinse your mitt before you soap the car, and after every pass of the car so you keep the soapy water grit free, even better use grit guards in the buckets too....

Did you use the 2 bucket method tho?? lol [] Looking nice and shiney []

I've just had an e-mail from a Mr Dunne saying what a nice display of cars we had on our stand [] and looking at the pictures I have to agree with him [] Well done to everyone who organised and helped out at this show, despite the weather. It's nice to see members coming together and organising shows like this [] Looking forward to being able to actually get along to some shows soon - and hopefully our stand will get bigger and better with each event we get under our belts [] Pele
