  1. Great I would assume - but I was not up in the Scooby - no decent fuel for it. Just in the door and I had done just over 600 miles so that would have been at least 3 fill-ups in the Impreza with crap fuel [] Brian []
  2. Always wanted one [] The time had come to "stop messing about" [] When I sold my last one, I knew I'd buy another quickly []
  3. Dunvegan today and MANY dodgy single track roads to lots of other places [] And sheep [] The "Prince Of India" just down from the tourist information office is good too [] No films at the Cinema this week [] Back tomorrow []
  4. Thanks Craig, We had dinner there last night [] Tonight time for "Prince of India" I think. On the menu at the hotel last night was breast of roast pigeon...[] Brian []
  5. Mine was done by Extreme too - cost £75 I think it was. Use them all the time (as they are 5 minutes from my house []) Brian []
  6. No phone signal but a PC connection in "the palm room" [] I am well wrapped up - indoors as it is torrential outside!
  7. Nowt wrong with a WRX mate []
  8. Great - mini meet - Thursday @ 7PM Portree Tourist Info Car Park []
  9. Mine was done by Drive Subaru at 150 miles [] [] before I picked it up - needless to say they went out of business quickly!
  10. On my hols on the Isle of Skye at the Skeabost Country House Hotel, near Portree [] You'll be pleased to know it is absolutely BELTING down here so sitting in the hotel listening to the rain try to drown out the continuous repetition of Elton Johns' Greatest Hit(s)!!!! Oh for a thunderstorm! Some superb roads over here - a Scottish Scoobies holiday would be good [] See you when I get back. Brian []
  11. VERY accurate for many people Peter! Well summed up []
  12. 95% - some things to do - but after the "will it go boom" thoughts of the last 48 hours, I am well happy with it now [] Good post Cal.
  13. Welcome along []
  14. They did say today the engine bay looked even cleaner than when you had it - not really even cleaned it yet (well, not much)... Toothbrush out shortly lol!!! Recirc is solid, has worked up to 1.8 BAR and is shiny. What more could I ask for [] Now to source some SAMCO!!! Brian []
  15. Ah - Bach on the guitar - that's gone! lol []
  16. LOL - forced induction!
  17. Not sure if it will be any cheaper but I'd imagine an ECUTEK remap would allow the mapper more control than a piggyback? Jamie HI SOOB had a Unichip on his Bugeye WRX - he will be able to say more [] Brian []
  18. Mis-timed with Stephens - DOH []
  19. Thinking entirely in terms of price versus depreciation. £16 for a brand new car, with 2.5 engine and facelift versus car with blobeye front, 2 litre, a year old and already lost £6k?? Also a euro import 2.5 will come with the Subaru Pan European warranty. Brian []
  20. Answers in blue above []
  21. Do Dastek Map ECUTEK - I thought they only done UNICHIP, which is a piggy back? Dastek are very good though.
  22. Lol - is he biting yet []
  23. That's the original Jap decal []
  24. Can't argue with white wheels [] [] Will look the business []
  25. Very well thank-you Peter... When I drive it tonight on a few pitch black back roads (need PIAA's for that really) I realise why I love Impreza's so much. The car sounds amazing, has way more performance than I dare try on the road and is slowly but surely getting there. Just brakes and a few other bits to do but the parts are in the post - thanks to A S Perormance for that one, once again [] How is your car doing Peter? Brian []
