So just out of interest I tried an insurance quote on my my own scooby but I couldn't get any on that either.Do you know why this might be? Someone who was interested in mine mentioned he was having trouble finding insurance too,but a year ago he didn't!!! Also do you know of a companies that might insure me? Thanks for any feedback.Cheers.
  9. Hello people, is there anybody who might know if a clutch kit for a 95 wrx import will fit on to a prodive flywheel? Appreciate any advice, thanks.
  10. Had a look under the bonnet this afternoon but I could not see a sensor on the radiator, it was raining so I havent yet got it up on the jack and had a look from underneath. I pulled the four relays out one by one. One fan slowed down at first, followed by the second. Once they were all out one fan continued on low speed. Is this a sign the relays are faulty? I also connected the two black plugs beneath the steering columb but there were no lights to indicate a fault. Thanks for the feedback people its much appreciated.
  11. I like the idea of the AP paddle clutch, if the clutch has to be replaced it might aswell be a decent one. Thanks for the msg, dooahhdoo. As for the fan problem I will try what you suggested leon, I didnt notice the sensor on the radiator. fingers crossed. Thanks alot chaps.
  12. Thanks big E. Thought I would take the car for a cruise last night and to top it all the clutch has started to slip. It never rains but it pours! With the help of my dad I might do this myself to try and save on the cost but I have not yet got a price on the clutch.
  13. Can anyone help? M reg WRX import has a problem with the fan permamently on full power. I was told to replace the sensor at the top left hand side of the engine with the brown plug. But doing this did not cure it. Also when the car is cold it takes about 8 turns on the key for it to eventually start, it will struggle to run for the first 30 seconds, then it ticks over and drives fine. Any advice would be much appreciated cheers.
