I don't frequent any forums since the fallout with Scoobynet last year and the fact I sold my car in September 2004, but I decided to browse to see if things had changed. Nice to see people are still using the Scottish Scoobies area. Well done guys n gals I popped into that 'other' place to see they've just started an area for the Essex guys. Now how can they get a public area when thats all us Scots wanted. I reckon we should bombard them with all the abuse we can get together cause this stinks to high heaven. Now that is out of order, I'm with Ben on this one, a one on one fight is fair when both are standing but once someone's on the deck drop it. But he was a big guy and if thats what he got for chatting to his g/f on the phone and speaking about the coloured lass then think what you'd get if you confronted him.

Geez Plug, What a reply, thanks for the info. So I need to be real careful when looking. I really need to check on the insurance difference, I can see me going for the Sport if a turbo is mega expensive.

Thanks Phil, I just read Spally's post, thats what scare's me. Is the Impreza Sport the same engine as a turbo Impreza ?

Thanks Steve, So why would my brother tell me to keep clear from a turbo model. According to him, a number of things break and they cost a lot of money to repair. Thats why I thought it was better to ask the people on here for some help. I would hate to get a good car and end up having to fix it. Is there any car I should stay clear off ? Hiya everyone, Been on here a few times as a visitor but now I need to ask a few questions I'm looking to buy a Subaru Impreza, but I've been warned by my brother to keep away from the turbo model because of various known issues. Having read a few posts from in here it looks like theres a lot to look out for. I've got around £8000 to spend. What would this buy me. I also need to lookout for insurance as I'm 25 with only 2 yrs no claims. Can anybody help me. Thanks again Vix
